It is possible Dallas end up with the 4th seed and Seattle with the 5th seed. If that were to happen then we would play them at home in the 1st round. It would be a tough game but I'd love another shot at them.

Russell Wilson is really developing into a good dual threat QB.

He's got what it takes.

This is my favorite scenario. The only better scenario (that I don't think can happen) would be to have the Giants in the first round.

Kicking either of these teams out of the first round would go a long ways in exercising some demons.

Right now I would gladly face any team in the playoffs. Going back to Settle is fine by me.

They're not as good on the road, but they're still going to be a tough matchup for whoever they face.

They're very opportunistic on both sides of the ball.

Nobody wants the Seahawks right now. They are the Dark Horse team.

Exactly. This team has a lot of work to do just to make the playoffs. That's all I care about at this point.

I think Dallas would love it because that would mean they made it to the post season. Bottom line Cowboys want to be in a position where come playoff time they are still playing, if that is the Seahawks great.

I'd love to get the Seahawks in the playoffs.

They're beating up on weaker teams right now but I don't think they're that good.

They whooped us earlier and that loss really hurt.

You got it. I think if you told the players you are in the playoffs but you must face the Seahawks they would jump at the opportunity.

However there is a lot of work before players can start dreaming of post season. Garrett has the team focused they need to continue staying in the moment.

I want them. Bad. Their guys talk like they are God's gift to football. They are playing well and they are understandably confident. But their endless blabbing is classless and I'd love to shut them all up.

I'm no Tom Brady fan, but when Seattle's loudmouth CB (can't remember his name) was taunting him after their game as Brady was walking to the locker room really rubbed me the wrong way. And Pete Carroll thinks this is all fantastic.

And don't forget Tate's hit on Lee. The hit was hard, but clean. I don't have a problem with that. But Tate dancing around while Lee was lying hurt on the field really pissed me off. Totally classless.

I'd love nothing more than to have another crack at them. But the Cowboys have a lot to do before that happens.

I was just thinking this the other day but didnt want to get too far ahead of myself. I'd LOVE another crack at the Seahawks, especially away from their stadium.

On a side note, I hope they never wear those gray jerseys again. Ugh

Dream scenario;

Romo is the FG holder.

Fake FG

TD Pass for the win.

Oh my I would almost consider sacrificing the superbowl for that to happen.

Almost.

Honestly though it isn't their passing game that would worry me. For whatever reason, Cincy and Pittsburgh both opted to unbalance a bit and didn't just run it down our throats. I don't think Carrol would make that same mistake. Their strength is ball control, running offense, which is what we are weak at stopping right now.

That's funny CR because after Cincinnati all but abandoned the run even though BJGE was running at will against us, I predicted the Steelers wouldn't make the same mistake. To my surprise, they did.

I'll be happy to play anyone in the postseason at this point. If it is Seattle and it is at home, great. Hopefully if that is the case Sherman fails his appeal this week.

In my opinion, they are the best team in the NFC. The complete package. Offensively they have dual threat WR's and TE's, a BEAST with Marshawn Lynch, and Wilson who is having an amazing rookie year. Defensively, those corners are top in the game. They have linebackers that really get after you. Special teams is complete as it gets. Washington is a threat to take it to the house any moment! They are VERY scary. I don't care who you play...it is hard to drop two 50 burgers back to back.

Ok, that was not what I was talking about. If it meant the Cowboys would be in the playoffs then duh, they would be jumping for joy and so would I. I'm saying that the Seahawks are the dark horse playoff team right now and have been playing lights out, so not many teams would want them in the first round.

To be fair to the Steelers, they DO have Ben Roethlisberger so I can understand why they would trust him against our 3-man rush, potato safety play and third string ILBs. That said, they WOEFULLY lost in TOP against a battered defense and an offense that was clicking. They didn't protect their own battered defense. All this AFTER Cincy made these same mistakes (albeit through several dropped passes).

Mike Tomlin gets a lot of credit for being a good head coach, and I think he has good reason for this, but I cannot for the life of me understand why they didn't just feed the ball to their bruisers and try to keep the clock running.
