Who wants to join me on the Ryan Mallett Bandwagon?

NO argument there catch17....he IS physically gifted. Mentally he's about 12 yrs. old. Total immature awesome person.

what is it with these wagons? At the start of the season everyone was talking about being on the wagon after 2 weeks people are tripping over themselfs to get off the wagon. Now you want to talk about a college kids wagon?

Exactly some these same people wanted Aikman gone after a bad perfomance just glad that teams don't play to their fanbases because they would be a wreck if they did.

Another thing that pisses me off SD is that the media hold certain QBs, to a higher standard even after bad games for example Farve had 3 ints and its never his fault but his team lost the game but Romo threw 2 ints and its "he's not good enough" in the I hold no QB, to a standard they had a bad game hold them accountable for it like you would everyone else.

I don't know anything about his maturity and all that but I never expect a college kid to be real mature anyways.

Physically though I like both Mallett and Locker. I haven't watched Luck enough but i've seen him hyped up too.

Locker is another Sanchez type that needs to play in a West Coast Offense IMO.

Mallett can succeed in whatever scheme you run.

But Dallas has Tony Romo with a cast of veteran players so this discussion, for Dallas, is dumb.

But nothing surprises me on Cowboyszone. Especially after yesterday and all the geniuses we had after a Garrett play didn't work.

He's an IDIOT in a gimmick offense: I want NO part of this kid. Ask the folks in Ann Arbor, Michigan what they think of this guy.
Mallett left Michigan, because he style didn't fit the offense Rich Rodriguez run some of us know that Rodriguez like those running QBs look at Denard Robinson, who is in the Heisman disscusion right now.

Seriously, you do not see it ?

No, I don't see it. If you actually read my original post (and not selectively edit my second post) the only bandwagon I'm on is getting Romo more help on the offensive line. I don't in any way want us drafting Mallet, Locker or any QB in the first round this year. So where exactly do we disagree?

While Mallett is gifted he does seem to have a problem throwing on the run, and his release point is too high and you know as well as I do C17 that the NFL will expose that.

Never was impressed with Jake Locker, and Luck in my opinion is the best QB of the 3 but you're right about some of the Cowboyzone fan base.

I don't mind a high release point and I like the fact that he is 6'6 and can see the field.

The low release point (like Tebow) is something I can't stand.

If Tebow ever finds success in this league it will be because he plays behind a GREAT Oline because that throwing motion is terrible and slow.

This guy can solve all of our problems. He is a leader and a winner. Plus He has a country accent and I don't think I've ever seen Him wear a ballcap backwards, at least since He's been at Arkansas. Romo's been good but he might not enough of a leader to carry this team.

Let me guess...another really poor attempt at sarcasm and jokes?

Ok I see.

Being that he is so tall he sometimes have trouble with the short passes as well IMO, but he will have his work cut out for him Saturday when Alabama comes to town.

You guys are just embarrassing and showing your lack of knowledge about the Cowboys current situation.

and thats my contribution to the thread. Brought to you by Slate.

Romo is a premier QB in this league.
Ignorant football fans are blaming The Cowboys record on the the QB.
Does the defensive play this season account for the 0-2 record?
If more Cowboys fans showed as much passion in Cowboys Stadium supporting their team as they do knee jerking, then...
Count this Cowboys team out and see what happens.
Under the leadership core of this team, the 2010 Cowboys will "right the ship."
Losers knee jerk.
Of course you should jump off the band wagon, you're not a true fan anyway.
Usual garbage was thrown about during the Wade Press conference today by Dallas area media.
So stop the panic button pushing, I still believe in this team, and you should too.

I wouldn't mind getting him actually if for no other reason that to have a QB once Romo is done he's 31 now so you can't really count on him being here 5-6 years from now playing at the same level and i really don't wanna go trough the whole Carter, hutch, Vinny, Bledsoe thing again, or even worse Leaf

OL and Safety should be a high priority not QB right now

will there be free beer on the bandwagon? Hail for free beer I'd be on the Jemarcus bandwagon.

Poor, really? I thought it was pretty good. But really I like Mallett the same way I wanted Micheal Vick on my fantasy team even though I already have Peyton Manning. Too bad they moved the thread where nobody'll ever see it but it was a pretty good run while it lasted.

I'd rather take Jake Locker or the QB from Stanford.
Pac 10 homer here. Locker is awful this year.

Luck is not.

I could care less about any QB unless it's one we get 5-7, but Nebraska would make any QB look bad.
