What was the name of the safety the Cowboys had who was hurt every year and every offseason you would hear that this was his year? Guy was on the team for like 4 or 5 years.

I'm thinking Justin Beriault, but he was only on the team for two years.

I'll give it to you guys that Jerry hired him and got him what he needed. That's what a good owner does. When Jerry wanted all the credit and all the control then the juggernaut started to wither and we've never been the same since. When Jerry stayed in his lane he was the best owner in football. When he demanded it all then he became the biggest hurdle for this franchise to overcome.

We should credit all the amazing owners who hired Super Bowl winning coaches! They don’t get enough. lol

Who owns the Rams or the Chiefs or the Bucs? No one talks about the intricate part they played.

As for hiring Jimmy, who gives a crap at this point after what he’s done for 30 years!? Jerry is complete garbage!

I haven't read through all 14 pages of this but has anyone mentioned Beuhler? That kicker that was garbage. Supposedly the strongest leg in the NFL and he awful.

I also want to through a vote in for Solomon Page and Clay Shiver.

That dude sucked long before he got to Dallas. Worst move in cowboys history IMO
We had a doctor at work who knew the score before he got out of college. Offered to treat him - denial of course is powerful.

If your are talking high draft picks then it's between either Barbie Carpenter or Taco

It was Atlanta. In the old Fulton County Stadium.
I was there.
I was looking forward to Emmitt Smith rushing for 1,000 yards on the season and the Cowboys squeezing into the playoff.
Neither happened.
And Laufenberg was butt awful.
You're right. I was thinking about the game before, but that was against the Eagles. Babe was 13-36 with 4 interceptions after Aikman got hurt early.
It's a shame, because the Cowboys we're getting on a roll until Aikman got hurt and might have been dangerous in the playoffs.
I remember Chris Berman from ESPN calling him " Babe 'oh no it's not me' Laughenberg" after showing the highlights of Aikman getting hurt and asking who would lead the Cowboys with him out. Lol
