Who was the better QB: Romo vs Rivers

Better QB

The quality of the other players on the teams must be factored in, otherwise it's not apples to apples.

You could say ABQ can't jump over the stream in his back yard, but RWB can jump over the one in his yard, so RWB must be a better jumper. Without knowing ABQ's stream is twice as wide, it's not a true comparison.

but what if it’s not and @ABQCOWBOY still can’t jump over?

I can't stand you, you annoy the crap out of me. I was 100% correct and don't talk about peoples mums you blimey fool.

There's a method behind his madness. He's just stirring the CZ pot.

Which is a good thing because it keeps this site active and going.

He's a diehard Cowboys fan and very Intelligent.

This threads still going? Neither is going to the HOF anyway.

Romo and Rivers both entered the league in '04, and through '14 their numbers were incredibly similar.

However, Romo’s injury riddled 2015-16 seasons saw him start 28 fewer games during that span than Rivers. This naturally led to a pronounced disparity between the two qb's in regards to their regular season numbers heading into '17.

Can't wait for another decade comparing Winzie & Dak. If Winzie can hold on that long of course.

You started this whole deep dive by saying my response was one of the worst posts ever. I believe I speak for more Cowboys fans than you do. Romo is not a HOF caliber QB. To me you lose a lot of credibility by making that statement.
.

Several HOF voters have said that because Romo was an undrafted free agent and accomplished what he did that it will be heavily weighed when Romo is eligible and voted on for the HOF.
.

Save it. If you can't be respectful in your posting, you are not worth my time, nor any response. Feel free to ignore me, I will do my best not to involve myself with you.
He got a way of sportin' an abrasive wardrobe, we all are pretty much aware of that, but, this is just about the most interactive/ least grumpiest I believe to of witnessed from G-Keppten,,,er,,, for whatever it's worth, Brother:starspin:

Hey Melonfeud, how are you Brother?

You know, after many years of posting, I have realized something about myself and I'm not sure I like it. I have noticed that I tend to get overly involved in unimportant interactions on various topics. I realize that you can't really have productive interaction with anybody if they aren't interested in it. I have way more years behind me then I do in front of me. That said, I guess I just feel as if I'd rather spend time interacting with those who are interested in the interaction, as opposed to wasting it in unproductive interaction.

But I always got some time for you Melon!

Without being bias for sure Romo. Also, he has more personality than Rivers, so I would for sure want him to be my QB.

On the nose. Agree with everything you said.

Also something else that those that think Rivers is better. While Romo was playing he had more come from behind wins than any QB in the league.

Asking me how long I've been listening to Romo doesn't listing any players that have gone public that teammates had a problem with Romo. I've been looking for a video I remember where Lee said that a lot of players do practical jokes and Romo took them as well as giving them. Lee said Romo would laugh right along with the others when the joke was on him. That sure doesn't sound like he had problems with teammates.
.
Radcliffe went public. Terrell Owens went public. I'm sure there are others I just can't recall. Now you can ride on them all you want it doesn't change the fact that they went public

He’s making stuff up.
He played with a maybe two hundred different players.
Every player will have a couple of guys in that big of a group that may not like them as much. Troy had several, btw.
There were a couple that I know of that went public. Everybody knew BFF was Jason Witten. Romo pretty much kept to himself. That's not a bad thing. Before you can't say anything without people thinking you're being disrespectful. And that's not what this was about

I'm known for my Integrity from the old Cowboys fan forum. If I forget something I admit it. 60 years of football it's hard to remember everything. And I have no problem admitting I may have made a mistake

Are you talking about the same TO that has a famous interview where he was literally crying saying how Romo was HIS QB? Now I've never heard about either of them saying anything bad about Romo but lets say they did. That's 2 out of what a couple of hundred players that played with Romo over the years and from that we can safely assume all or most or even a large number of his teammates had a problem with him. Come on Whirlwin that's really stretching it.
