Yes, Gregory.....although the jury is still out really. Mo was an exciting splash move, oh well.

No, Fredrick, that was kinda hard to see at that time.

Yes to dud: Claiborne... although the surprise trade up to 6 played right into that, never considered him that year because he was projected top 5 and never thought we had a shot.

No to stud: not many but I guess Frederick would be the closest. I thought he would be solid but not one of the best in the league

Bruce Carter - Dud. Body by Jake (Remember that) 2 cent head.
Marcus Spears - Wasn't impressed when drafted/better for short period of time.

One we all got right - Barbie Carpenter .....

I liked the Akwasi Owusu-Ansah pick in 2010. Thought he would be a decent DB prospect and an excellent return man. No clue that he would just run straight into his own players each kickoff return.

I hated the Dak pick.

Yep, pretty much nailed it.

Plus, his name meant Born on Sunday. How did that go wrong?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I was pretty pumped about Claiborne, and Gregory for that matter. Oh well.

I can't think of any pick I hated that turned out well. The picks I hated most were the Escobar and Julius Jones picks, can't say I was wrong there.

Actually, I guess you could count the 24 hours immediately following the 2016 draft and the Jaylon Smith pick. I'd read all the reports about him having a 20% chance of ever playing. I didn't know the surgeon was on the Cowboys payroll at the time. After I learned more, I got pretty excited about the pick. Being that it's still in the air, Jaylon could be a YESS!! or a NOO!! simultaneously.

Schroedinger's draft pick. (He is both out of the league and an all pro until we open the box)

I didn't think Frederick would be 1st round quality.

Ironically the thing I thought he'd be terrible at--downfield blocking--is something he does unusually well for a center.

I can't think of any names. I've pretty much been flawless that entire time.

OK...that made me chuckle.

If I ever was to put together a dramatic play featuring the South Park crew...I'd definitely be seeking you out for the role of Cartman.

Since 2010 I've been fairly spot on. (Humblebrag)

I guess the closest Cowboys draftee I've been just dead wrong about is Swaim.

I hated that pick. But he contributed a lot before the injury, and that's a big plus for the spot he was taken at.

(Disclaimer: based on my opinion at the time of their drafting; Not based on my opinion when caught up in the hype or dismay in the ensuing offseason months)

Yes, would have to be when we grabbed Mo as I thought he was the next coming of Pat Peterson...

No, has to honestly be that I wasnt that impressed with Dak at Miss St and when we drafted him I thought we could have gone another route.... Needless to say I admit to having a big egg on my face currently.

Before this past draft it would have to be T.Fred as I thought he would need to turn into an all pro to justify reaching for him in the first... and well hes done just that and is one of the top 3 centers in the league by anyone's opinion.

I was excited about Gregory and Jaylon Smith.

I was not excited about Frederick. In my defense, as a rule, I hate UW. So, I will always devalue their players 7 rounds. If we want to ignore biases, I was less than thrilled with the pick of Byron Jones

Yes! - Mo (I genuinly thought this guy was going to be amazing, given the hype)
No! - Dak (I thought, why waste the pick when we have Romo lol)

Although not a stud Hitchens has proved himself far beyond what I thought he was capable of.

And Escobar was the stud we would replace Witten with.
