I am just crushed, litterally crushed! This is one of the most disappointing loses I have ever watched. I felt down right horrible yesterday, and still do. Besides writing this thread I do not even want to talk to anybody, not even my wife. Just leave me alone is what most will hear from me today.
There are so may things for me to point out, and maybe it will be theraputic.
What is this fricking monkey we have on our backs, and how the heck do we get it off?
This team has the talent. You may disagree, but you would never be able to convince me otherwise.
We have what I believe is not only our QB of the future, but the QB of the present. We have very solid RB's, horses at WR, a pro-bowl TE, the O-Line is blocking fairly well over the last couple of weeks, but when they lack Romo's ability makes up for. We have a stout D-Line who is young and strong, we have solid Linebackers, and we have a top notch secondary. THIS TEAM HAS THE TALENT.
But it seems every other week, we just come up short, we always seem just a step off, just one play that does not get made, or just one part of the game that just kills us. It is almost like we are cursed.
Did you watch that FG get pushed back in yesterday. It was wide right, and it looked as if some outer force pushed it back in.
How the heck was that a 15 yard face mask? HOW!? It was'nt.
How do we let that FG get blocked? Plain unacceptable.
What the heck is up with 11 penalties for 100 and 30 something yards.
From a Field position stand point that was the worst kicking performance I have seen in a long time. McBriar was just horrible yesterday, and Vandy was just as bad. We killed our selves in this area.
How does Roy Williams let that ball go through his hands, and the same with T.O.
Why does Bill go for 2 so early in the game, man I really disagreed with that.
All of this and the talent is so good on this team, we still should have WON.
Week in we win, week out we beat ourselves. We look cursed, like it is not meant to happen. I know we are not cursed, but geez it just looks that way.
How is it that it seems the only way teams can beat us is with trick plays. We all new Washington could not drive the field on us, they had to pull the reverse pass, the week before the end around to Steve Smith, the week before the Giants flea flicker. We keep getting beat bad when we blitz, and teams are using our agressiveness against us like the Portis run for a TD.
Everything Parcells preaches, and we hear it week in and week out, is killing us. The things we instills in this team are not happening. WHY?
Are we trying to hard, and not just playing? Is Parcell's style just not working with this team or in today's era? Are we just not focused? And if we are not, then why?
We have some Big Monkey on our back. Some frickin hairy big foot looking 2 headed monkey that I just can not identify.
The question is how the heck do we get it off our back?
I dont know, but I AM NOT GIVING UP ON THIS SEASON! This team can do it, we really can. But something has to change, we need a little luck to go our way, because it just has not so far.
P.S. I really am excited about ROMO!!!!!!!!!
