Who will be defensive captain now?

Now that Lee is out who will be taking over as captain and relaying the plays to the defense and stepping up in the role of "QB of the defense"?

I would think Carter but is he up for that already? What about Conner? Or Ratliff? Sorry, my big weakness in football is defense and how it operates

Witten, Ware, Romo, Lee and the inactive Danny McCray are the Cowboys' captains.

So Ware is the defensive captain..

Carter will be the primary playcaller for the defensive with an assist from Connor.
