They just asked Dukes, Woodson, and Torry Holt that question and they all chose McNabb (surprise, surprise)! They all pointed to McNabb's playoff history as to why he'll be better...even though for all his postseason "success" his team's trophy case is still empty! As honest as u can be...does anyone here think DonnyMac will outplay Tony Sat. Nite? Being as Romo's been lights out this year and McNabb has been so-so against us...I'm riding with Tony! I think he's finally taken his game to the next level and will make his haterz & doubters eat every negative word about him and get the Playoff Gorilla off his back!!

Why doesn't Woodson just piss off, and go away for a while? It's obvious he hates us because Irvin used to pimp slap him up and down the field. Of course McNutSack is their pick. He wins "Playoff" games but yet has to put a trophy in their empty case! Tony can do this if he gets his mind right, and picks apart that teams defense.

I don't think McNabb will out play Romo Saturday night. However I can see their point that McNabb has many years experience (and wins) in the playoffs and Romo is 0-2. McNabb's problem is the Cowboys are simply better and playing better right now.

Here's six reasons to worry them.

You forgot to add Buehler & McBriar's numbers. And 51, 56, 99 & 72 have also been known to lengthen the day for McPityParty too.

Two reasons, one for each guy:

1. McNabb will play better if....the offensive line gives him more time. Winston Justice and Max Jean-Gilles were the problem spots on Sunday. Jason Peters played pretty well against Ware and Nick Cole surprised me by holding Ratliff down for the most part.

2. Romo will play better if...McDermott lays back and does not bring pressure.

Tony has been playing smart football. The main reason for that, IMO, is the Cowboys have gone away from forcing it down field and letting him just go with what he sees. When he has time he has been deadly.

The Eagles blitzed him in November and they kind of threw the offense for Dallas out of whack. They got burned on the Austin 49yrd play, but other than that nothing big was given up.

They laid back on Sunday and he was like a doctor performing surgery.

If the Eagles want to win, they have to gamble and blitz the hell out of him.

Indeed.

Indeed, Bat.

I saw your guy Paul Kruger get that pick on Monday night football.

Good points. Personally, I just think Romo's shored up his one weakness (ball security) and is ready to truly become "elite". He seems like he gets it now and has transformed himself into the leader that some questioned he could ever truly become. The coaches & players seem to have total confidence in him and I think we'll all enjoy his growth this January!

Yeah that was sweet, gotta love a guy who sticks the dagger into the Stealers.

Still think Kruger would make a better ILB than a pass rusher tho.

#9 is gonna roll 'em up. I'll give McFlabb the nod toward experience...that's obvious. With that, I'll say the experience isn't that big a deal considering the focus I'm seeing. For the record, I think Romo will actually shine MORE if the eaglets bring pressure. Remember you can die from blitzing too. It only takes one big play to smack their beak and change the mindset of their defense.

McNabb's playoff history as to why he'll be better...

his playoff hsitory includes him yacking in the bigest moment of his life superbowl 39 and failing to lead a drive to win the game last thing I remember him for... and a bunch of other playoff losses... far more than the 2 romo has...

All of these mediots are going on the Cowboys record of 13 years of win-free playoffs. Until we break the streak, they will keep riding our record of futility.

Nice post. I agree for the most part. I think the Eagles don't know how to play us but I agree they won't lay back Saturday.

I think the true matchups will be how our OL handles the blitz. And you have to add in the hot reads by the QB and the WRs. They have to be on the same page. If we make them pay for their blitzing they'll probably back off. OTOH, they may bring it all game long esp if we struggle with it. That will be the ball game there.
