Right now the Cowboys have a window and Washington does not. They better do it soon. I expect the new majority owner to hire a legitimate GM.
It will interest me who he hires, regardless of how quickly Washington may or may not bounce back. Harris is a brand new NFL owner with managerial experience with other professional sports team franchises. It gives him a unique insight on the caliber of sports managerial professionals to interview and select from.

He may have already selected his GM or he may decide to be thorough. He's got to select a guy with the potential to impact the general perception of the franchise. That is, somebody with an impeccable reputation.

I suspect that he's had conversations with certain franchise icons looking for some advice on how to turn around the team's image.

I think he will want to distance himself from the controversy by parting ways with the current regime of Martin Mayhew.

The more fun question would be: Who wins a Super Bowl first...Dak or Jordan Love?

No bias when I say it will 100% be J-Love.
At least you guys have the hope of the unknown. But Love is not overly athletic and doesn't seem to be pocket passer proven. I would rather have a better athlete that can win with just legs and the upside of actually becoming a NFL QB if it works out.

It is time they go into QB Hell ... and takes years to find one .... like the Browns, as I am still not all that sure about Watson.

Waston was oustanding his last three seasons in Houston, even during the last one in 2020, when the Texans went 4 -12... team started to unravel as the FO and owner made bad decisions that dragged down the franchise.
I think he returns to form as very good QB in 2023.

So you're making excuses for their poor record and him not doing anything in the playoffs??

whenever Prescott held to some ridiculous higher standard, so Prescott doesn't play like my homes, we want him gone but you're going to compliment a player who also like many of the others who allegedly are better than Prescott have not done squat in the playoffs and most of them have all had more turnovers and more issues than Prescott has had and yet somehow and I'm not saying this is just on you this is my general response to you calling a guy outstanding, when at the same time Prescott called the stat padding qb who cant get it done.. on some of those teams

I say that Prescott has had a more outstanding career that Deshaun Watson, hes is making less money and yet he's more criticized I'm not going to feel for the guy because he was on a allegedly worse team, they had some great defenses on some of those teams.. I don't remember the entire roster but I remember a strong run game a really good defense... so what does that leave? we're gonna leave the excuses for the offense

what?? did he need more weapons, more talent around him, and better coaching???

HMMM .. Isn't that what fans say we shouldn't need for players making 50 plus $1,000,000 that they should be able to carry a team lol note sarcasm because that's what we hear about Prescott...
