If you had Jerry Jones ear for one day and he agreed to hire a GM and step down and you could have anyone you wanted who would it be??

My choice would be Ozzie Newsome from Baltimore. Seems like Baltimore has solid drafts year and year.

Bill Parcells

Me.

No, seriously it would probably be Bob Sacamano.

OK... Newsome or Parcells would work. I also like Smith from San Diego, although he's a bit of a prick.

LOL. Too true.

Without equivocation, the best GM for the current Cowboys would be Jimmy Johnson. He would essentially be the HC while Wade remains DC and Garrett at OC. Cowboys need some intestinal fortitude, accountability & discipline, from the top on down, who better than the Jimster "Brass Ones" Johnson.

Some would say that Parcells could do/did the same, the BIGGEST difference between the Tuna and Jimmy was that Jimmy's tough love was always geared toward creating swagger, which is more than confidence IMO, almost like an aura of invincibility. Parcells tough love was almost negative, always guarding against error, which also worked to restrain greatness.
