It's really sad that an eagles fan has more sense than most cowboy fans on here.
I don’t understand the issue with either one. This board is strange. Elite five star players in high school that became big time college football players. But of course if your favorite YouTube draft nick doesn’t like him he must suck. Add either one to the corner back or defensive line room our defense will improve dramatically.Cowboys draft analysts are indicating that these are 2 of the top targets so get ready.
This is why being active in FA is so important. Since we aren’t it forced us to draft for need…bad combo. Our draft prowess is not as advertised. It's been lacking. No consistency. Not in a good way. We need to draft based on best available player on the board, regardless of need, position. It's very hard to do because the temptation is to fall in love with a name, based on need. We can't afford to do that. We did this with Guyton. Paid a price for it. We still need a LT. Guyton to me is a slightly better Terrance Steele. Put him at RT .
Oh I actually like both Williams and Johnson more than most. Some of our fans don’t but I think are both fairly good values at 12 and fill need at a premium position.I don’t understand the issue with either one. This board is strange. Here’s the problem with drafting RBs early in round one: They have poor value, meaning most RBs begin to decline by year 4. You get way less time from them at the highest cost.Drafting Jeanty, Hampton or Warren wouldn't be getting cute. They are solid prospects that would greatly improve this team. They will at least give you solid starters on their first contracts. If not just move on.
I am ok with any number of players the Cowboys could draft. I just want them to stay away from the Kelvin Joseph personality types or the injured linebackers we tend to collect over the years.Oh I actually like both Williams and Johnson more than most. As long as the meds are 100% for Johnson he’s actually one of my favorite targets. Dude’a 23’ tape was elite.
No way. You can't take a RB. You need to draft more important positions like, ya know, cornerback.Any corner. Regardless of Diggs injury, we have two really good ones back there with he and Bland when healthy. Our “GM” McClay loves him some DB’s.
It’s Jeanty or bust for me. That doesn’t happen trade back!
what if Will Johnson runs 4.4 in his workout in April?Mykeil Williams or will Johnson. It's risky on either front.
Yea agree - I’d love to know the real deal on Pearce and Green. 2 guys I love but am afraid of at 12 with the off the field stuff being a potential concern.I am ok with any number of players the Cowboys could draft. People think we can replicate the eagles. Or even the 2016 cowboys. Smh as if this oline is worth a damnTaking an RB at 12 isn't inherently a bad idea, but it is a monumentally stupid idea for this team.
An RB is not a good long term investment, and it can't help a team with this many holes.
Go get a cornerstone-- doesn't really matter the position.
Scratch that, if the pick at TE at 12 I'll be livid.
Parsons was considered the best defender in the class by most that year. That Parsons kid... I want one of the corners, Horn or Surtain.
See how this kind of question worked out.
Lol….yep. Lions fans said the same thing and the team took my pet cat Gibbs at 9 and said screw the NFL. Their GM picks for playmakers regardless of round, value, etc.No way. You can't take a RB. You need to draft more important positions like, ya know, cornerback.
The lions had an elite oline. Does Dallas? Yes or noLol….yep. Lions fans said the same thing and the team took my pet cat Gibbs at 9 and said screw the NFL. Their GM picks for playmakers regardless of round, value, etc.
This offense needs playmakers and from the look of FA that’s what they are going to try to get. What I’m worried about is Eberflus has been at a ton of these Pro Days………like his Predecessor Marinelli always was…..![]()
Middle of the pack. Special backs can make the line look a lot better. Okay backs will make them look like what they are.The lions had an elite oline. Does Dallas? Yes or no
I think Pearce is ok but has some bad practice habits. Green could be Zeke all over again. To much smoke around him. Probably the two best pass rushers in the draft even over Carter.Yea agree - I’d love to know the real deal on Pearce and Green. 2 guys I love but am afraid of at 12 with the off the field stuff being a potential concern.
what back in recent memory took a middle of the pack oline and made them look good?Middle of the pack. Special backs can make the line look a lot better. Okay backs will make them look like what they are.
