2002 2nd Round it's Clinton Portis all the way over Gurode! I know it's a year prior but a Roy/Clinton 1-2 punch in that draft would have been something! We really should have been thinking ahead to Emmitts departure in that draft too.

2003 I gotta agree with Wayne here, would have taken Leftwhich over TNew. Leftwhich and Witten in the same draft would have been a dream core to start with.

2004 I'm stumped on what to do here. Jones isn't needed with the great 2002 draft selection I changed, lol, and who gives a crap about Rogers with that 2nd #2. So maybe I just dedicate to taking a flyer on this draft completely and trying to trade both those #2's for another #1 in 05.

2005 I stick with Ware at #10 but grab WR Matt Jones at #20 instead of Spears. With that extra #1 I picked up in 04' I then select Spears at the very bottom of round 1.

My Redefined Offense Made Through the Draft
Qb-Leftwhich
Rb-Portis
Wr-Keyshawn
Wr-Matt Jones
Te-Jason Witten

Only position sacraficed in my rejuggle, CB. And we bit the bullet signing Ty Law instead of drafting TNew. And in January 2006 we were all seen in Detroit playing a pretty big game on national television. It was called the Super Bowl.

So with the same line Leftwich is gunna throw to Matt Jones. Portis couldn't run behind our line.

I am telling you guys, without an Oline, it dont matter who you put back at QB, RB or WR, not even the mariculous Matt Jones could save this team. (BTW, I noticed how your Matt Jones won the rookie of the year and MVP of the league......NOT). no Matt Jones, damn, I thought we were past that one too. I would take MJ over TO, but thats about the only way I take MJ. If I have to pick between these two.

No one knew Boldin was going to be that good. To fault dallas for not taking him would be ludicrous. Al Johnson had a great combine while boldin turned in a slow 40 time.

Disagree. I watched Boldin play at Fl St quite a bit, I knew the guy was a freak. I was glad he ran a slow 40 at the combine because I thought that gave us a better chance to get him, I couldn't believe he even made it to the 2nd round. I wanted us to draft him back then and if I could change one pick from the last 3, this would be it.
I knew we needed a C badly, but Boldin was a freak. He got separation when he needed to and he was just so obviously a freakish athlete it was no surprise he tore up the league and won ROY, at least to me. He was also the 3rd string QB at Fl St during some of the Rix era. If only he could've thrown the ball to himself....
seriously, had i been running the '03 draft, we would be a better team now. We also would've had Cato June and Josh Brown instead of BJ Tucker and Justin Bates. I WAS elated though at the Witten pick, esp in the 3rd. That was the TE I wanted all along that year. Saw a lot of him at UT, he was just very very good and has blossomed well in the NFL.
I had an excellent season of scouting that year.
I also wanted Torrin Tucker after watching him maul Ok St's Kevin Williams in Southern Miss bowl game. Of course, I would've left him at Guard.
Where's the application form...Jerruh..put me in the scouting dept.

Then you are one smart dude, because the majority was not clamoring over Boldin.

2005...no change

2004...

Has 1 single pick proven anything yet? Julius Jones, Jacob Rogers, Peterman, Thornton, Ryan, Nate Jones, Crayton, Reeves.

S

Julius Jones hasn't proven anything? He's battled injuries, but if you don't think he's showed ALOT of potential, you're crazy.

Rogers was a bust.

Peterman, the jury is out...could be like Brady James and finally come on a bit later.

Crayton? The guy was on his way to a real good season until his leg went out. Sorry, but the potential he flashed as a 7th rounder is pretty impressive.

Reeves looked halfway decent out there. For a 7th rounder, he isn't that bad at all. Remember, he's only our 4th CB.

So to say none of those guys have done anything is a bit far fetched, or it shows you haven't watched the games.
