Who would you rather play, Atlanta or Tampa?

Can’t imagine any Cowboys fan wanting the team to face Tampa in the playoffs over Atlanta. Is this a serious question? Lol

There are some brave souls who want revenge. I'm not brave enough to go out on that limb. TB will be hard to get by come playoff time.

It's cool to disagree.

I don't think Tampa could do the damage that Atlanta can do. Just Patterson by himself could make a house call running, passing and returning.

We'd also be facing another running qb, which is something we still need to figure out.

That's a part of the run game I was mentioning in an earlier post.

I get that Dallas lost week 1 to Tampa and not to make excuses but first game with no starters in preseason and the team wasn't great. Dak was terrible and got hurt, defense kept Tampa out the endzone for the most part and held to FGs.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but TB in the playoffs is a tall task for anyone. I'd rather not have to, but if we do we still SHOULD win.

beating brady gives us enough mojo to go the rest of the way and win the SB...huge monkey off our back WC weekend and the juju would already change as Brady has never lost to the Cowboys

Say what you will but Tampa would be much more difficult to beat in the playoffs. Atlanta is not a very good team they’ve lost six games this season. If we can’t beat them in the playoffs we’re hopeless. I believe the Cowboys have lost to Tampa the last three times they played them, including once to Jameis Winston. The Bucs are one of those teams that has our number.

Tampa ran for over 150 yards against us in the opener and they have the goat at QB who the Cowboys have never beaten. Would much rather have Atlanta.

You don't wear skeert very well.

TB. Our D did OK. I think we beat them decisively if we play them again. If we can't beat this mediocre team we need to pack it up and go home anyway!

You might want to take your fan cap off. We lost to a mediocre team a couple of weeks ago who hasn’t won since they beat us.

I just think this Dallas team has a better chance to beat Tampa than Atlanta. Regardless of playoffs or regular season

All good points but I'm not looking at the past. I'm looking at this Dallas team and stopping the run is the weakness which Atlanta does much better than Tampa, in my broken opinion.

Chicago is the number one rushing team in the NFL and we beat them because they couldn’t stop us. Atlanta‘s defense is ranked 29th and Tampa’s is ranked 7th. Our offense is starting to get on track and no doubt we could exploit the Falcons defense. Plus Marcus Mariota turns the ball over and gets sacked a lot. Our relentless pass rush would make his life miserable.

No, no . . . , I don't want to take my fan cap off. It doesn't interfere with my view into reality. I love being a fan !

If we're as bad as you're intimating then does it really matter who we play? Then the old adage comes into play "that to be the best you have to beat the best." I might add "and all the rest."

I'd like another shot at TB and TB just to taste the sweet nectar of revenge. I'd like another shot at that mediocre team from a few weeks ago too but that ain't happening.

Maybe you might want to put your fan cap on ! Maybe your big boy panties too.

Why Atlanta? Wouldn't a better question be Tampa or GB? Atlanta sucks.
Atlanta is only a half-game behind Tampa Bay for 1st place in the NFC South - Bucs are 5-5, Falcons 5-6.
For that reason, they have a better chance to make the playoffs than the Packers- who currently have four teams ahead of them for the last wildcard spot.
'Atlanta sucks.'
Well...Green Bay has a worse record, has lost 6 of their last 7 games. Take away the their win over Dallas - the Packers have not had a victory since October 2nd -way back in week 4.

I find it fascinating that people are screaming they want the easy way out.
