All of you that want to replace Romo and garrett, who would you replace them with?

Replacing Romo with a rookie would set the team back three years. Even if it ws Luck, there would be a period of time required to learn the pro game as well as the offense, get a feel of his receivers, build a chemistry with the team, etc.

What veteran QB out there, that is available, would you get to replace him? Name me one experienced QB that could step in and do a better job right away! Never mind that the QB isn't available.

Which coach is available that has a better background and productive history and can step in and take over without significant rebuilding? Do we revamp our offense? Do we let Ryan run the defense without any input from a new coach?

All the "Blame Romo and Garrett" people complaining about this team not being 8-0 haven't offered anything better, and I am sorry to be so annoyed at them, but all the complaining won't change a thing. This team is improving, just as Hos has repeatedly pointed out.

If there is a better combination available that would turn this team into a SB contender today, name them!

I Dont want to replace Romo, but Marino and Roethlisberger seemed to pick up immediately.

Never wanted Garrett, would have preferred Harbaugh or Ryan.

I would like Montana and Landry, but I can dump in one hand and wish in the other.....

I see your point.....We complained about Wade....and we havent seen any improvements :p:

I think we all are willing to give JG time as a HC.

Some have issues with him being OC....wearing 2 hats...etc. Those are legit complaints.

We have blown 3 games and got destroyed in another already this season....I can see how us Fans are alittle upset.

Romo being the Cowboys QB is always going to be bashed......that will never end till he wins a SB. Its just the way it is.........

My Keep list:
Keep Romo as QB.
Keep Garrett as HC

My Change list:
Bring in an OC
Bring in a GM

My change list has already been shot down publicly by Jerry and Red. So as usual I will continue to pull for my team with enthusiasm while hoping to be proven wrong by consistent smart play and success!

I honestly do not want either of them gone. I just want different plays called. We could be dominating games if we actually performed in the redzone.

Well, if you think that Tony is fundamentally flawed in some way or has a "ceiling" like Danny White or Bernie Kosar, then wasting three more years with him at the helm would be devastating to the team's long-term prospects. We know he's good; we don't know if he's good enough.

I fail to see why you have to get rid of Romo to bring in his eventual replacement, ergo, bring in a guy to push Romo and hire Norv to be OC.

All is well.

I can agree with all this, but too many people are saying Romo and Garrett need to go.

In first with a "you can't POSSIBLY be comparing Romo to Elway!" comment.

And I thought the Romo-Rodgers thread was bad. Denver was "patient" with Elway because it was obvious to anyone with eyesight that he wasn't the one holding them back.

Both were initially carried by great defenses.

Roethlisberger has been consistently bailed out by great defensive units.

I really wouldnt want to replace either one, I would just like to see Sparano or some one else brought in to help take some of the load off of him.

Now if I got to pick two guys I could replace, the coaches would be Houck and Campo and the players would be Costa and James.

Romo's no Elway, but that same statement applies to him.

Romo's career level of play is higher than that of ANY QB to win the Super Bowl (at the time they won, Brady took off later) this past decade other than Manning and Brees. How is that "holding us back"?

The problem is defense and oline, like it has been for years.

Romo is not the one holding this team back. He was solid under Parcells in '06, and did great with Sparano here in in '07. Should be clear to anyone that the Garrett/Wade combo has been pretty detrimental to the growth and development of this team. Just look at what Rob has done with the D in a short time here.

People keep coming up with this "he needs a whole offseason" excuse for Garrett, but Rob has done well with the same amount of time. What best part is that Rob wasn't even considered very good before this stop. Replace Garrett with even a mediocre coach, and this team is probably looking at 6-2 right now. I put the Pats and Lions losses directly on inexperienced head coaching.

Heck, replace garrett with even a stick, and this team would be 6-2. It really takes a talent moron to blow a 24 point lead in two quarters. Love how romo is getting the blame for that.

No one, we have the right combination right now. Garrett is the best HC that we can have. He will take over the slot that Belichek is holding right now.
