Who would you trade back into the 1st for?

I really don't like the idea of trading up into the first round, in a vacuum, unless we first trade down. I don't like the idea of only grabbing 2 guys in the first 3 rounds. That said, here's who'd I consider trading our 2nd and 3rd round picks for. What about you?

Treadwell - I know he's not a perfect fit, as ideally we'd get a speed guy across from Dez, but I think he's a good enough player despite that. Like when Arizona grabbed two possession guys in a row - Boldin/Fitz - you take the talent and make it work. More so than any other WR in this class, I think he could be a major part of the offense week 1.

Hargreaves III - Not likely, but crazier things have happened. Teams could view him as a #2 and decide to wait on the CB spot. If they do, I'd be willing to move up for him.

Nkemdiche - This depends on the homework they did on him. If they trust him enough to draft him at 34, I think he's talented enough to trade up for. It's a risk, but the potential reward is so very, very high. He's a top 10 talent.

But again, I'm curious to know who others would trade up for in the first round.

Spence is the player I could see them trading back into the 1st for if he is there later in the round.

Lynch or Zeke if he slips towards the later part of the 1st. Zeke falling is not impossible.

Henry if I thought Carolina was going to pick him.

All three guys you mentioned are possibilities. There are some that are overanalyzing Hargreaves because he isn't prototype size.....but he is the best corner in the draft. He has been mentioned as a possible slider. I personally want nothing to do with Nkemdiche. He has great physical talent but he never dominated in college and football seems like a hobby for him. I don't think he will ever have the mental drive to be a top level competitor.

If he is still around in the late first, I would strongly consider Lynch.

QB, and by extension, Lynch, is about the only guy who makes sense there for us to even consider trading back up into the 1st. Because that 5th year for a QB is going to mean a lot to the team in terms of giving us time to improve the player and still keep Tony's window open.

I could even see using next year's picks to do it if we like the guy enough, with the rationale being it still gives Romo time to play and getting him a year earlier gives us extra time to get him ready. We'd be looking to use a high pick next year on a QB, anyway.

I wouldn't consider moving up for another position. There are going to be plenty of good defensive players there at #34, and we need the picks.

No one. Stop giving up valuable picks/resources each bloody draft. In the last 5-6 years how many players are we now missing cause we have traded up. 4-5 maybe. Stop the madness .....

I so badly don't want to give up a 3rd to move from 34. Not in this draft.

Now we happen to trade down a few slots from 4 and pick up an extra pick or two, then yes, maybe I'd use of the extra picks if the right player drops.

I'd trade up as far as our 4th round pick would get us in a trade for:

1. Doctson
2. Treadwell
3. Darron Lee
4. Spence

Not sure how viable either scenario will be but I'm not giving up the 3rd rounder for anyone. Realistically the target zone would be somewhere around pick 26 or so.

I'm not sure a 4th round pick moves the needle for teams in the first. The 5th year option alone is likely worth more than a 4th.

No one. I'd strongly consider Lynch...in fact yeah Lynch, but only him. Unless...man this is hard. You never know who could fall. Highly unlikely but what if a top 10 guy falls to the late 20's?

Yep. That 5th year is a factor. But I just can't trade that 3rd rounder, barring somebody dropping 20 or so spots lower than projected without an injury/conviction.

It would only make sense for a QB. There should be a pass rusher or CB sitting there at 34 that won't be a huge drop off from what is there in the latter stages of Round 1.

If we could somehow pull this scenario off this is what I'd wish for.
1st- jalen Ramsey
My trade back in first is Shaq Lawson or miles jack if he drops enough
