Who would you want Dallas to play in the playoffs?

What if somehow the Browns beat them? Would be the best thing ever. Schedule heats up for them though after Cle. @Pitt, Dal, Det, @Philly @Wash

That wouldn't surprise me one bit about Cleveland. The Giants could have lost 3 of those games that they played.

Give me the Commanders again as we haven't played our best game against them yet.

Getting home field advantage is going to be crucial. Even though it doesn't seem like this team has a great home field advantage at Cowboys Stadium, for whatever reason it's worked in the playoffs.

It's winter, teams are used to the cold weather so they come here and we close the roof/windows, turn the heat up so that it gets really warm inside.

There's no easy path to the SB. We will be facing good teams regardless. Washington and Atlanta are probably the worst match ups, but if thats what it takes to end the season with a W, so be it.

We will actually end up helping the skins in the next few weeks by taking out the only other wildcard candidates for them, minny, det, Tampa. Detroit winning was huge for the skins because they need Detroit to win that division since Detroit owns the head to head tiebreaker while minny does not.
If everything remains mostly static Detroit would host Washington in the first round and I would guess Washington would win and then be heading to Dallas. I really prefer to play someone else in the playoffs, hate playing teams 3x.

I think Washington gets the 5th and the Giants get the 6th. The Giants will lose to Dallas. Then Washington gets the Giants in the final regular season game. If they beat the Giants at home, which they probably will, that gives them the 5th seed if they close out their other games as well as the Giants do. Compare each teams other games:

Washington plays at Cards and at Philly, then Carolina, then at the Bears. 3-1 most likely.

Giants play at Browns, at Steelers, against Lions and then @Eagles. 3-1 or 2-2 most likely.

So I see Washington finishing around 10-5-1 and Giants finishing 10-6 or 9-7.

Yea that's actually the scenario I'm hoping for but you never know what you'll get with the NYG they can be good one week and they could lose to the browns the next.

Either JPP or Cliff Avril/Bennett vs Doug Free in likely a tight playoff game is a recipe for disaster. Not trying to call out Free at all but these are simply poor individual matchups that single-handedly can derail a game for Dallas. For that reason, NYG and Seattle IMO are the worst possible matchup for this team.

Seattle doesn't scare you? I think they have the best chance to knock us off other than the Patriots.
They don't worry me all that much either. I would be nervous if we played in Seattle, but I'm sure it's going to be in Dallas. I think our style of play matches up really well against them. We are a very physical team and I do think Zeke will be able to run on them. I would rather play anybody outside of the NFCE

I think Dallas can lock up a spot this week?
If Tampa Bay loses to Seattle this weekend, then yes, we secure a PO berth with a win against Minny next week. That said, I'd love to see TB knock off Seattle this weekend. We have bigger fish to fry than securing a simple playoff berth, IMO.:)

I want the Cowboys to beat the Patriots in the SB. Then, next season, I want to beat them again. And the year after that? Same.

Once the Cowboys have beaten the Patriots 3 times in the SB in three consecutive years, then...............we can take a break. Maybe beat somebody else.
