Who ya got? Texas or USC

Since most people here live in Texas I imagine most people here will pick Texas but i still wanna see people's opinions over the game. I think it will be a close game all game but in the 4th qtr Vinsanity is going to take over the game and they will pull away. But another big part of the game for Texas will be Jamaal Charles and/or Romance Taylor. Both will get carries and people around the country will be surprised to see how good they are. They are as fast as anybody on USC team including Reggie Bush.

Texas wins 45 - 35
Did you hear that Selvin Young is starting? I predicted early in the season that Macks loyalty to Selvin would end up costing the Horns a big game because of his fumbling. I'm actually scared to watch the first series for UT's offense.

How bout who ya think will be MVP of the game? The obvious choice for Texas is Vince Young but the darkhorse is Jamaal Charles

Texas could win 50-0 and with Reggie Bush getting 3 total yards and he'll still be MVP.

I want USC to win, but I have a sickening feeling that UT's D might be the difference maker here.

Hoping: USC

Predicting: UT

Yeah, I live in Austin, but just can't stand UT or it's fans.

I may be stuck in AZ but I gotta go with the home town boys... Go UT!

My blind, drunk prediction was a route by USC. My friend goes to UT and his dad has most of the games recorded, so I saw some of their games this week. Their offense goes well beyond Vince Young, and they have a stout Defense.

Besides the analysts saying it, if you've seen Texas play, they have alot of speed. Oklahoma didn't have that type of speed, especially on defense. And at the college level especially, the old adage of speed kills is very true. Texas has a very good front 4. They've got a good RB, and the threat of Vince Young running the ball really gives them a chance to shine big time. Texas seems to also come up with clutch plays when nesseary (see the OSU game).

On USC, i've seen them play alot this year, and never really looked shaky at all. They have put up alot of points, as has Texas. HOWEVER, defensively they have shown up big time. Oregon put up alot of points on most opponents, UCLA came in with a big offense, pretty much every one they faced this year, they have shut down....but no doubt, Texas is the most explosive offense they have played all year.

The reason I pick USC in a high scoring, but close game, the simple fact that they just have more things to shut down. Texas is very good, and they aren't as 1 dimensional on offense as people say they are, however I do believe that if USC can gameplan around Vince Young (ya that's real easy...) they can slow down Texas just enough. Texas is going to have their hands full. You have to game plan around Jarret and Smith as WR. Lindell White and Bush are no easy task to stop. And they have a very good offensive line, so Leinhart should have time.

Im hoping for a great game, and a Pac-10 win.

Texas defensive ends crashing inside will end up costing them big time against Bush. As a Longhorn fan that scares me more than anything else about this matchup.

Go ahead and continue posting it throughout the game. That way, it will be all the more sweeter to mock you as the USC Condoms get gored by the Longhorns. ;)

UT in a landslide, 45-28.

Hope for good officiating. On all of Bush's little turn and run all the way accorss the field, theres usually 2 clips and a hold, but its never called.

He's a scary player, and couple that with the fact that they have so many other weapons, and it makes for a DC nightmare. They will come at you with Bush in the slot, and White at TB. Then it's like, how do you match up. Their front 5 can open up big lanes, and belive me, plenty of times both their backs had 18 carries for 180+ games. They are pretty incredible.

I like Texas chances, but Im pullin Pac 10

Its really going to come down to who has the better day defensively and i see Texas as the better defensive club.

This game is going to be a great one. Scoring galore. I took the 7.5 and laid $100.

Go Texas. Better special teams, better kicking, better defense, worse offense.

We'll see.

Vince Young just will not be stopped if USC tries to take away his running ability he is gonna beat him going deep with his arm and if they try to back off to stop the passing, he is gonna run them out of the building. He is a combination of both Bush and Leinart
