Who You Got? Which 5 players do you think will be the best in their respective positions for the upcoming 2015 season?
QB
1) Aaron Rodgers
2) Tom Brady
3) Tony Romo
4) Ben Roethlisberger
5) Andrew Luck / Drew Brees
This was the easiest group to come up with, at least for me. Rodgers, Brady, Romo, and Ben are no brainers in my opinion. After that it's a little cloudy with the likes of Luck, Brees, Manning, Rivers, ect; Manning would be 3rd if it wasn't for his abysmal finish. Was it due to injury, age, will he be back healthy next year? He looked like he was as good as done.
WR
1) Calvin Johnson
2) Dez Bryant
3) Antonio Brown
4) Odell Beckham Jr
5) Julio Jones / AJ Green
This group was somewhat difficult to come up with, there's sooo many talented WRs in todays NFL. If I had to guess, I'd say WR will have the most sporadic range of players list to list. Players like Jordy Nelson, and Demaryius Thomas were left off, while I'm sure on other lists they're top 3. The gap between 1-5 is insanely close, you could make an argument for all of those WR as the #1-2 guy.
RB
1) Le'Veon Bell
2) Marshawn Lynch
3) DeMarco Murray
4) Arian Foster
5) Jamaal Charles / LeSean McCoy
While Matt Forte, Alfred Morris, Eddie Lacy, and Justin Forsett are great RBs in the NFL, I think there's a decent gap between them and the 5 I listed. Maybe 1-2 can be swapped, but I think most people will have a pretty similar list. AP is a huge unknown so I didn't even bother with him, though if were a Cowboy he'd be #1.
TE
1) Rob Gronkowski
2) Jimmy Graham
3) Greg Olsen
4) Travis Kelce
5) Antonio Gates /Jason Witten
Hardest group to list for me was TE, there's young talent like Jordan Cameron, Julius Thomas, and Zac Ertz who are coming into their own. And then you got a guy like Martellus Bennett who exploded onto the scene last year, will he repeat it again or was it an anomaly? I can see Gates/Witten being swapped out for the guys I mentioned above.
