I'm not and any one who really cares about this team isn't either.
We start again next week against Arizona. Let's take it one game at a time and who knows? Maybe the Boys will surprise even the most jaded observer of the team.
I'm sure not either.
Certainly not out of the wide card race, where a team we have beaten like Carolina is lumped with a team we would have had Romo played (Philly), and maddingly inconsistents like Atlanta and Minnesota (down 9-3 to SF as we speak) reign.
If this were the AFC, I'd say yes, but I won't even concede the division....yes, the Jints have a relatively easy schedule after Chicago I believe, but I don't think they're going to qualify as a 'super' team on anyone's list. And they're being bitten by the injury bug.
It's sad 'parity' has come to reflect NFL inconsistency as much as competitive level...and the ones to solve the roller coaster syndrome will win out.
For us, it's penalties AGAIN....that has to get 'handled'...if it does, I think we're in that part of the season - the playoffs- where 'anything' can happen.
