I made some delicious chicken, sausage and black peppered bacon gumbo around 10 am, let it stew in the crock
pot until now.

Idk how u west coast guys do it noon is too early for me to get ready for big games. Emotionally anyway

Yeah, it is pretty hard to turn the tv on and sit. Seriously though, the earlier the better for me. I hate waiting for games.

Personally I just can't stand waiting for the games. I get too nervous. lol

Yeah, the 12:00 noon time is my favorite for games. Get up, watch pre-game and then kick it off.

The catch is if Dallas loses, I don't watch any of the 3:00 games or the Sunday night game. If Dallas plays at 3:00 then I get to enjoy the noon games no matter what.

Still, I will take a noon game every time! Personally, I think it is good mojo for Dallas to be playing at 12.

We've got a thread for a pre game spread of Costco mini tacos, guacamole and chicken salad already, but who's having real playoff football type food?

Im sticking with wings just like last week. Same rub and same sauce. Add in some fresh pico and its simple but good. Im sticking with this menu for our next 3 games!

What else will get eaten tomorrow?

So, I'm going to eat some sausage and then wash it down with a big ol' glass of bacon grease. Then Imma eat the **** out of some steak and eggs.

How's that?

When you get older you will look back on this decision and say, only if I had not eaten that meal, I would not have this heart bypass!

Take a good package of bonelss chicken breast. Bread it with a flour pan, egg pan, and then corn crumb pan...making sure the meat is fully covered from each pan. Fry until the crust is crisp and lightly golden. Remove the meat. Place on a flat tray and add sliced parmesan, and grill for about ten minutes.

Make some kabobs in the grill: using watermelon, cantaloupe, and pineapple chunks that have been coated with olive oil. Cook about a minute per side.

I love baked potatoes. These can be wrapped in aluminum foil and placed on the grill prior to the kabobs. I always like butter, seasoning, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, bacon and black olives on my potatoes.

For after the game (West Coast here) I've got a NY Steak to BBQ after a worchester marinade and seasoning, plus baked potato and bbq corn on the cob.
