Yesterday, I drew a toon about a choking-hazard Romo toy. Fair is fair: http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/tailgaters/Sanchez-Eagles-quarterback-choking.html… #Eagles pic.twitter.com/qJBrr5vo7s

Oh that is awesome :D

Kudos to the cartoonist for the fair is fair thing!

And for anyone who thought I was actually agreeing with the choke angle on Romo, I was LAUGHING at this cartoonist - sort of an In Your Face thing :)

Just. To. Be. Clear.

In the NFC East, if it's NY and Washington, I'd say it should be an easy road for Philly to win out. That doesn't mean they will but they should. I don't think it's a stretch to be concerned that they will. I think it's reasonable to assume they will.

Especially this late in the season where both teams are already cleaning out their lockers.

Career passer rating of 102.7 in the fourth quarter -- highest in NFL history.

December passer rating of 107.0 over the past six seasons -- best in the NFL.

What a choker.

Unfortunately it's only amounted to a 1-3 elimination game record and one playoff appearance. Sadly his passer rating stats are the only thing Cowboy FANS can hang their hats on.

Because they finish up with the Skinz and the Giants. I mean, regardless of Sanchez, they should win both of those games pretty easily.

There's nothing about NFC East division games that are easy no matter the records.

Hopefully we're laughing at the end of the season with the Cowboys in the playoffs and Philly sitting at home. With 2 important games left it's not time to start laughing yet.

you actually think the Commanders are going to be cleaning out their lockers in week 17 and not focused on playing spoiler?

cookoo cookoo

Never underestimate rivalry and division games. Even the worst teams have a chance when playing a rival from their own division.

For us, perhaps. GMen thumped the Commanders on the last day of the Season last year. Made it look pretty easy. Washington beat us pretty easily in 2012 with the Division on the line, the last game of the season. Year before (2011), the Giants laid it on us the last game of the season, again for the Division Title. I guess we'll see what happens.

Of course they have a chance but I'm not betting on it. Philly has something to play for, the Giants and the Commanders, not so much.

The eagles will have the last laugh if we lose to the Colts or Commanders.

Depends on what they do against the Commanders and Giants. If the Cowboys lose to either Indy or Washington and Philly drops one of their last 2 games the Cowboys win the East.

No, for anyone. At least in the NFC East.

Well, it does require the opponent to possess this thing called pride. Not sure if the Commanders have any of that. Pretty sure the Giants do.

The Giants and Washington are playing for next year and that can be scary for a team like Philly that's battling for a playoff spot and is reeling after 2 straight losses. The Giants and Washington have a chance to play spoiler and some teams relish that. Both the Giants and Commanders went at each other pretty good last week so I don't see either team laying down the final 2 games. RG3 is trying to resurrect his career and Coughlin is battling to save his job in NY.

Yeah, Rocky IV was pushing the limit. I'll give it a thumbs up, but only halfheartedly. Rocky V was horrific. The kid (I think Sylvester Stallone's real son?) should get together with the kid from Terminator 2 and discuss how to singlehandedly ruin a movie franchise with stupid buffoonery and horrible acting.

Stallone should have stopped after three. Though, I'll brook Rocky IV for the sake of "Living in America." ;)

that it has happened before doesn't make it inevitable. bad point.

No, it doesn't make it inevitable and since I didn't say that, another no point you're making. But the odds are that a bad team playing in it's finale will roll over and show their belly. They just want the season over.

There's a mental aspect to this game. I doubt you're capable of understanding it.
