why do we have 3 WRs on our practice squad? that seems a bit excessive. I was surprised to see Wilson there. He was pretty darned good at OU. I figured he would have a decent NFL career.

WR is a position you develop. A lot of guys take time to catch on. But they are also usually good special teamers so can help you as 5th or 6th WRs.

I'd also assume having guys nearing free agency makes having some young guys important.

And again I am a Tech homer so what do I know but I'd be looking to Danny Amendola as a slot type with underappreciated quickness who can sit down in zones and make tough catches for you. A guy similar to Patrick Crayton but much cheaper and much less noisy.
