Who's our best safety?

it's still ken hamlin, but that doesn't mean much

roy is a liability in coverage, you can't have that.

hamlin whiffs on a lot of tackles and doesn't make ed reed plays, but he's a decent safety.

watkins has no quickness.

keith davis is just as bad as roy in coverage

brown can't tackle.

Hamlin basically losing the game last night by getting his face stiff armed into the core of the earth by LaRon McClain basically cemented to me that we don't have a good safety on the roster right now.

It was Roy until they tied his hands and took the fire out of him. He use to look like he was having fun, not he is just going through the motions. Now we have nothing.

Ken Hamlin's still our best safety, and he's still a great player -- it was just one of those nights.

Still Roy Williams.

Neither of those runs would have happened last night. But thats the way it goes sometimes.

Good safeties don't have four or five of "those nights" in a season, if not more.

Oh I beg to differ. I could very much see Roy going for the all-out leg blow and whiffing completely on both. Or doing the same thing Hamlin did and going way too high and getting posterized.

Like Roy Williams demise is anyones fault but his own.

Sorry I just don't see it... Or even the fumble that Hamlin lateraled to Mason.

Now if we were talking about a deep pass over the top, I can see that happening.
