It's got to be Julius Jones for me...I was watching the news video from training camp yesterday and Julius sounded so excited to have Owens on the team b/c he knows the impact Owens will bring. Julius has had a couple tough years but there's just something special about this kid and I wanna see him have around 1,300 yards and 11 TD's...who's the player you want to succeed the most this year and give the statistical information of the player you would like to see

for me I would also like to se julius jones succeed, because he would of had pretty decent seasons if he wouldnt have had those injury's, im expecting him to get around 1,600 yards and around 12 TD's.

If I had to pick one...hell i'll pick two.

1. Julius Jones
2. Tony Romo (if he gets PT)

We need Romo to badly to be the next QB it's not funny. If he's not, I think that will set us back a couple years when we finally have to get one the conventional way.

Same here. But 1600 yards is high, considering MBIII will get his share of carries. I'm looking at 1200+ and I'll be happy. No injuries. But I look for more TD's, like around 16.

EVERY player that plays for the Cowboys.

yea, kinda my thought. while i'd love to see crayton have a breakout year and step it up, i think at times fans tend to let "their chosen players" they want to step up put a negative bias on the players their "choice" competes with. (romo/henson 17 page debate here, i'll just giggle happily if either can step it up at this point)

i don't like the direction bp has us on, i don't like at least ONE of our FA pickups, and i'll be glad when the "shotgun" approach is over and we quit being a retirement home for aged qb's on their last hurrah. so till then i'll just sit back, watch the cowboys and hope as a team we have a great year.

and oh yea, crayton steps it up. : )

Greg Ellis so that he can become the team guy he always was.

Jason Ferguson, because we really need the nose tackle position to work out.

Patrick Crayton, because I want some confidence in our WR corps for years to come.

Rob Pettitti, because I like his story and would like to feel that the RT position is set.

Parchy, because we desperately need good feedback.

We'll only go as far as our line will take us. We won't get very far if Bledsoe doesn't have enough time to find our fabulous receiving threats.

its gotta be about Julius.

if he can give us the 1500 yard season that his talent suggests then we will have an outstanding year.

if he gives us a year like last year then we'll be looking from the outside at the playoffs and drafting an RB in the first round in '07.

I wholeheartedly agree.

I've been backing Petitti since the first time I saw his college highlight clips. I firmly believe that this kid will become a Pro-Bowl OT before too long.

I agree with this one.

I hope Rob succeeds, because if he does you know that could bode for a lot of good things for our offense.

Vince Young.

I want the Cowboys to succeed as a team, I could care less which player does the best individually.

I would love to see some of these younger guys step it up and ensure their place as a future starter for years to come. It's so hard to just pick one. I think there are four key postions in where we need a young guy to start being sucessful this year before we can take home a trophy.

Crayton, (but any young reciever really)

Julius Jones ( or Marion Barber)

Pepper Johnson / Montavious Stanley

Rob Petitti / O- line

I'd like to see Petitti really come into his own... One, because I like the guy's toughness and two, because the team really needs him to.

Also, I'd love to see Terry Glenn have a career year. If he does, that means he's taking advantage of the attention that T.O. is getting and he's drawing attention back off of Owens, as well as Witten and Fasano.

Defensively, it would be great to see Carpenter come in and really solidify the SOLB position. Be solid all the way around. Get some pressure on the QB, provide good coverage on backs and TE's, and use his size to shore up the run on the left side of the defense.

Lastly, I'd like to see Ware finally become the dominant pass rusher that we've lacked since Haley's back was healthy. Something along the lines of 15 sacks.
