If I had to pick a specific position today - now that Romo is starting and the OL seems to be playing not too horribly - I'd go with the safeties.

The coaches who put these guys on the field like this in the first place

If we win a Super Bowl under his watch you can bet Tuna will get the lion's share of the praise and rightfully so. So when things don't go so well that's on him more than any other single entity.

There's enough blame to go around, but he gets the biggest slice of that pie.

Parcells would be at fault since he's said himself that they've got the talent and we've been relatively injury free.

The Bledsoe thing doesn't bother me too much. The guy played well last year, just our O-Line was banged up and legitimately bad. This year Bledsoe isn't the same player. Parcells was unafraid to make the switch, something most NFL coaches wouldn't do.

I think I'm pretty reasonable with my expectations, but the play of the defense has really disappointed me. I think it's Zimmer's doing (the blitz disguise has been poor every year he's been D-Coordinator), but Parcells is in charge and he's responsible for making the appropriate changes.

I can take solice in the fact that Parcells realizes the importance of sacking the QB in the NFL. A lot of coaches who aren't getting sacks like to say "they're overrated". But Parcells has made note that the pass rush is an issue and they've blitzed at a pretty good rate lately to help out with that. But that often times isn't enough.

I agree. I think if you asked Parcells if he happy about the progress of the Cowboys since he has taken over I have a feeling he would not be thrilled about it. Bill wants to win as much if not more than any fan, he puts in the hours and deals with the second guessing it comes with the job. I would like to think that he will get that Super Bowl in Dallas but if not I do think he has put a brighter future in front of us.

If we dont make the playoffs...its not parcells fualt(well maybe about 25 percent, ill explain)...not jerry's fualt...not even TO's fualt.

if we do not go it will all be bledsoe's fualt..."oh but hes not playing anymore how is it is fault?"...because.....

number 1-jax game...we shoulda won....bledsoe started off strong...so did jones...n all this man had to do was make smart decisions n manage the game....throw the ball away...dont throw 3 picks n give jax momentum...we were up 10-0...feild goals would help...or just put it in our D's hands without them having there backs agianst the wall

1-0 we shoulda been

Number 2-eagles u played poorly agian....even our D kinda played bad..but the D made enough stops to give us a chance....oh n we did get a chance long bomb to terry glenn PI!!! oh **** were at the 5 yard line...2nd n goal...if we dont get it..we still have 2 chances...naw but u rather be a hero n force a dumb pass like u always do when the games on the line..for a td

4-0 we shoulda been

number 3-Giants we could have been up at half time..maybe ud still have ur job...but nooo u throw another pick..n our team is just lazy and out of it.

maybe we could be 6-0

well i do blame some on parcells for letting bledsoe start in the begging especially after the jax game....i dont think romo would have made those mistakes...but can u guys see...bledsoe..started us off with a garbage *** record..n now we have to buss our ***** to save the season...omg im praying we beat INDY...if we do... not only will our confidence sky rocket to outer space:) ....but i think well trample over any team this season...i kno newman will have good moments since hes anticipating the ball..but i worry bout henry :(

what u guys think?

No. It is Parcells' fault. He is the head coach. He hires the other coaches. He is responsible for what they fail to accomplish. And they have failed so far to take advantage of the talented players at their disposal. He determines who plays. The lack of game discipline, the lack of imaginative schemes, drafting errors, the tardiness in making the quarterback change, and the failure to promote effective leadership for the team should be laid at his doorstep. Maybe he is just tapped out but, whatever the cause, he and his crew bear the responsibility for failure. If they manage to right the ship, they will be entitled to the commendations. But it is Parcells' who answers for it, bad or good.

Well, Bill and Jerry were both smiling like a couple of Cheshire cats all during spring training.

Now everything is going south and "the Bill" is all ready pointing fingers.

"The Bill" really cracked me up today saying, ya, the undisciplined play was my fault....then in the next breath started with the "I can't make them do this, I can't make them do that, bla bla bla.... That's funny because other coaches find a way to get their players focused and disciplined:laugh2:

However, after two decades of coaching, "the Bill" is at a loss.

Based on the previous chain of events I would say that the latter comment above was more accurate... maybe its he is using the wrong recipe... This TALENT CAN WIN... we have proven it TOE-to-TOE... just havent closed the deal..yet... we will though

People seem to forget that the Cowboys were close in every loss this year...every stinking one! No team has completely dominated this team...it came down to the wire, even with the sloppy play, they had a chance at the end in every game...they even spotted some teams some points at the very start!

All this team needs is just a tad more salt...and a small amount of pepper, then let the team simmer on the fire till it's ready...right now, the ingrediants are still in the mixing stage...
