The Cowboys need to get Cory Proctor on the next train out of town, but S, OG, ILB, and NT are going to make this tough to do unless you draft a guy lower, like the guy from Maryland or took Anthony Parker (Tennessee).
If the Cowboys draft a center early, which his going to be tough to do (unless he's the best guy and you are stuck) when you consider their needs, they will draft Wood or Caldwell, imo. Wood has risen. He's a solid second rounder. I think Caldwell in round three would be the most probable option unless they took Wood at 51. Also, I think the Dolphins will grab one of these two guys.
I don't think Herman Johnson gets out of round 2. If he gets past Dallas, some team will nab him. He's too good of a player to slide into round 3. He's a high character guy.
Drafting two offensive linemen (2nd and 3rd) wouldn't upset me with the first 2 picks if the board dictates it.
Don't forget Phil Loadholt. Everyone "thinks" he's a RT, only, but does Dallas think that. Scott Wright says he could be a decent LT. Teams like Dallas want guys like Loadholt at LT. Marcus McNeil and Loadholt are both 6-8 and now, Loadholt is down to around 330, and he's looked much quicker and moved his feet better. He's had a very good post-season. He played at 345. That's too heavy. Plus, he only played 2 years of big time football. He was a junior college transfer. He's not done developing.
He's the darkhorse, imo. # 51
