Sounds like another big day of FA signings. Don't get me wrong; if Vinatieri really comes here and we sign him, I'd be ecstatic but don't believe Jones will pull the trigger.

Also heard rumor Milloy coming in this weekend, but take it for what it's worth. Doubt we interested cause I've heard he no longer the player he was--really slowed up. We probably sign Marcus Coleman cheap, but he's mediocre now unless Parcells can resurrect his youth. Don't know anybody out there who now worth signing. So we probably must fill this position thru the draft and with our needs at RT, FS, LB, etc. I'm not bursting with joy right now.

First weekend of free agency almost in the book and we signed a FA lineman on 3rd team in 3 years named Kosier?

really disappointed we didnt get Longwell in here though. If they didnt want to spend 2mil a yr on Longwell, I cant see how they are getting Vinateri either

The thing is, none of us know for certain whether the Management are sitting on their hands or heavily negotiating. Yeah it sucks that it APPEARS nothing is going on but we will never know until breaking news (about FA signings) occurs.

apparantly they have eye's on Tier 2 guys. I thought Jones said he would move fast. So far NFL moving faster.

Lets hope we pick it up this week. Lost weekend to start FA.

I agree. I'm sure there's been a lot of talking going on. JJ, BP and Ireland aren't just going to sit by and let things go. Ireland is more aggressive than that and they know exactly who they are going after.

I think their kicker plans were dashed- look for suisham and some other young punk udfa or a very late round pick.

Im really upset with what we are doing in FA, I mean we did enter it with 22.5million to spend, and all we do is get a 3 yr player who isnt more than a backup(IMO) We need a kicker and if we dont get Vinateri, then V-Jack is the only one left besides Matt Bryant. We need to get a CLUTCH kicker and Vinateri is our man. We need to bring in Hope/Wesley, Vinateri, and sign Ayodele, also a RT needs to be signed, i know i cant stand another season of seeing Bledsoe get hammered every time he drops back, because Pettiti cant block worth a rats behind. Get a RT in here that can hold a block, for god's sake just do something, i am sick of hitting the refresh button, hoping there will be a signing, and there is nothing, GET SOMETHIN DONE!!!!!!!!

The bottom line is that the guys we want to see signed may have absolutely 0 to do with BP and JJ's plans. It's not like we've been outbid for anyone...most guys here just don't seem to like the plan or not knowing what the plan is.

Clearly, Dallas had 0 interest in most of the guys who've already signed because we didn't even set up a meeting with them other than Longwell who, like a smart kicker, opted to kick indoors.

Just because we don't see it or like the plan doesn't mean that FA isn't going exactly the way Parcells wants it to.
