I like Wall as a prospect more than most, but I think McCann might sneak on the roster because of his return ability (which is basically just pure speed)

AOA wont learn CB, he is the expected eventual starting FS, you only learn both spots if you want utility at two positions with someone not expected to start. ball was never ment to be a starter he was depth, he has just worked his way into a starting role. and i dont expect him to keep it past this year.

I think it will.

Hamlin starts. Ball keeps his role as the S in the sub packages and 4th CB. At the end of the day, they probably play an equal amount of snaps.

This is partly why i think Ball stays in his current role. I dont think we have anyone else at CB we can afford to put on the field, especially if that player is forced into a larger role due to injury.

Agreed.

I don't think Wall makes our team he will likely catch on with a cover 2 team and have some success though.
