Lynyrd Skynyrd ... the most talented band ever assembled.

cut short so very suddenly and tragically.

Right now and all time?

There are so many that I like, but if I had to pick just one, well, I'm a Parrothead, baby...

Other favorites include:

The Eagles... where rock and roll goes when it grows up...

Bruce Springsteen... I seem to really like one album, then not care so much for the next...

Bob Seger... he's my age, but the dude can still flat out rock...

Kid Rock... that surprises me, too, but I like his music...

Patsy Cline... best voice I ever heard...

I may think of more...

I love The Beatles! Way before my time but my parents loved them so it is genetic with me. Same with Elvis. Do not like much of the music today.

Right now:
Tool (supposedly working on another CD)
Foo Fighters - Unbelievable band. Won't get the credit they deserve.

All Time:
Pink Floyd
Kiss
Guns n Roses
Led Zep
Tom Petty
A ton of other 70s & 80s bands that I grew up with.

This is such a hard question when trying to narrow down to one. I can't do it:

Stevie Wonder
Michael Jackson
Nas
Biggie
Radiohead
The Beatles
Pink Floyd

Clutch.

Just saw them for my 11th time in Lawrence, KS last week.

I'm also partial to KoRn. They were my favorite for a long time, but then I was introduced to Clutch.

Creedence Clearwater Revival

Now we're talking...

Alan Jackson

He does have a smooth voice, doesn't he?? I'll always be fond of him because he helped a new generation discover Jimmy Buffett, which in turn led to Jimmy's only number one album, License to Chill (which was a series of collaborations with modern country artists)...

Wow that is rough. After careful consideration I'll go with.......IRON MAIDEN.
