Four each...
Risers (all assume no medical or drug issues)
CB-Chidobe Awuzie
I'm predicting it right now. He will be in consideration for our RD1 pick if we don't trade up for a DE. Physical hitter and run defender, feisty, explosive athlete, great size, quick feet.
DE-Tanoh Kpassagnon
I've seen almost no film on him because he plays at Villanova, but in the small bits I have seen he looks like Mario Williams. He's playing in the Senior Bowl I believe. Expecting him to skyrocket after that and the combine. Highly athletic and in a 6-6/285 body. CAA Def PoY. CBS has him at pick 260. I think he'll rise up to RD2.
DT-Derrick Nnadi
CBS has him as the 164th player. I see a guy in the neighborhood of Bennie Logan (top of RD3). He's a 1T that I think fits in a Marinelli D. Powerful lower body. Stays on his feet. Mobile enough to chase or jump gaps. Can walk blockers back to the QB. Can hold it down vs double teams.
QB-Patrick Mahomes
I think he's the best QB. Not the typical Air Raid QB. He's got the huge arm, the touch, the head, the feet, the toughness and the mentality. If Mahomes stays at Tech, his arm will fall off.
Fallers
DE-Carl Lawson
I like him but size and injuries are a big concern. Won't surprise me if he gets med flagged. Has skills to get around the corner, uses his hands pretty well, and plays with power. Looks a little short armed too. Probably more appealing to 3-4 D teams. I wouldn't draft him in RD1. Maybe late RD2 like Frank Clark if he checks out medically.
CB-Desmond King
He's typically in the mid 20s. If he measures in at 5-10 without special athleticism, I can't see him going before early 40s. What I see is a guy who rarely is playing with his back to the QB. Always off-coverage 5-8 yards. The QBs in college suck, so you can get away with that. Wouldn't surprise me if he ends up at FS.
RB-Christian McCaffrey
Kinda feel he's a WR who was left at RB. Not an NFL runner that gets taken in RD1. Keep him at RB and he's a Patriots jack-of-all-trades utility back, which is fine, but a lot of outlets have him going RD1. Don't see it in any year but particularly not in a year with so many top RBs.
DE/OLB-Charles Harris
I see him get folded up a lot. I could see him not being on our board at all and being seen strictly as a 3-4 OLB. Has absolutely no technique. Doesn't look explosive and matches that with a lack of power. Nothing vs run. He sucks. I don't get what people see in him at all. Watched vs Florida and WVU.
