The guy sucks. Detroit and Miami had plenty of talent on offense. Kitna had no problems working with the talent in Detroit, and Miami was decent on offense until Culpepper and Harrington tried to steer the ship.

Why all the love for Joey Harrington?

That's what i want to know? i feel better with Brad Johnson as a back up than i do with Harrington!!! JOhnson might be longer on the tooth, but he comes with a lot of experience as well.

I think it is because they think he is dreamy and because he plays piano.

Thanks for weighing in guys. Harrington and Ramsey backers on this forum are............... . These two QB's are one in the same. Whiney, non-productive LOSERS. Period. Whereas Brad Johnson has been the complete opposite in his career. Yes, he's long in the tooth, but if he wasn't we wouldn't have been able to ink him as a backup and mentor to Romo. Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessh.......

As I've said in other threads, I watched him play in the Dolphins last several games and by the end of the season he was an unmitigated disaster.

The Dolphins game against the Bills was the final straw. He was as bad in that game as any QB I've ever seen play and I'm not exaggerating. On two occasions the Dolphins D got a turnover and both times, Harrington threw a terrible pass for a pick the very next play. Besides that he simply was unable to throw the football. It was a career-ending type performance. Saban benched him in the 3rd quarter and that was the end of his career with the Fins. I wouldn't want him anywhere near the Cowboys team.

He also has won a Super Bowl, which a lot of people seem to forget.

Cleo Lemon said he did such a great job shining his shoes that he tipped him $5, and told him to buy something nice for himself.

I personally would not mind Brad Johnson one bit. He greatly outplayed Culpepper in Minnesota. And yeah, he did win that SB. If Romo is out for a few games, I think Johnson would giv eus the best chance to come in and win.

Harrington and Ramsey are liked because they are relatively young, and both had upside early in their careers. I think it seems those guys would be able to be backups for a long time

We definitely need to draft a good young QB to develop.

We are all infatuated with Harrington's youth, draft status, potential potential, and the fact that he played on some lousy teams.

Hey, reminds me of Leonard Davis.

Miami was decent until Culpepper and Harrington showed up. Detroit has an awful defense, but their offense wasn't too bad last year.

Was Davis ever benched at any point in his career, much less for the offensive line equivalent of Cleo Lemon?

Maybe we should go get Billy Joel?
