Why am I so scared the Eagles will win the SB this year vs the previous ones?

Because they have the best QB they've ever had. That's why.

I think a few teams can beat them but they are definitely in the mix as a serious contender to win it all. Which sickens me. It's brought a whole new intensity to my MMA training.
They had one lousy season & one good season with Wentz. That's an off set and way too early saying Wentz is the BEST QB the Egals ever had. Being they haven't won the division since '13, they've had very favorable schedules since Wentz took over in the middle. Now that they won the division, their schedule will definitely be much harder next season. Currently, McNabb stands as their best QB "they've ever had". Records and stats will justify that.

McNabb wasn't half as talented as Wentz. This isn't most accomplished QB ever. That would mean all the past QBs are better than the young current ones. I said best QB. Wentz is the best QB to ever play for that franchise.

you cant even call last year bad . Rookie QB , Rookie HC . So unlike Dallas it was brand new system , and still trying to replace the talent Chip Kelly Destroyed. Wentz play went down when Lane was suspended for 10 games , then WRs with most drops in NFL dont help. Its not always about stats , there are things you want to see that stats dont show. If you watched the games you would of seen it

This "first place schedule" thing is a pet peeve of mine, because it's a thing from literally decades ago before they realigned the divisions.

Everyone has the same schedule accept for two games, and those two games may or may not be tougher. In this case, Green Bay was better than the Bears when the Cowboys played them (they wouldn't be now), and Atlanta and Carolina are a wash.

But a "first place schedule" doesn't stop anyone from doing anything.

Maybe not for you, but for me being first place in their division is good enough legit for me. That's like saying the Saints aren't legit either because they lost to the Vikes. For the first time in better than a decade, the Rams are beating teams they should beat, and are a legitimate threat to not just be a playoff team, but a contender for the NFC West title. That's no hyperbole either, just facts.

I'm just saying they are not on the level of Minnesota. Saints and Eagles.

It'll be a Pats and Eagles rematch and Pats will win another Super Bowl.
Lol, not gonna happen. Egals will go down when they play their 1st elite team in the playoffs.

They have yet 2 win 11 straight like the boys have done last year and I doubt very highly it's going to happen in L.A..

I don't see either of the two in the Super Bowl.

What exactly are you basing this off of? "They have yet to win 11 straight"? So what? Many teams that reach the Super Bowl don't have a streak like that.

We don't have to act stupid just because they are our rivals. Their biggest threat in the playoffs is the Saints - that's simply how weak the NFC is. MAYBE the Falcons get hot again.

But outside of that, they beat the Saints and they are most likely to the Super Bowl despite some win streak comparison.

For starters, you nor anyone else tells me what to do, "you don't have to act stupid", nice! You obviously don't live in Egals country and it's constant bickering and this is why I posted the 11 straight. My followers know exactly where I'm coming from. Being you don't, is not a reason to say someone is acting stupid JUST because you don't agree with their post. Just shows your immatureness. Wrong, their biggest threat in the playoffs are the Vikings or better yet the Rams...."Saints, Falcons" lol.
I love the ignore option, I can now add yet another wanna be know it all big shot behind a keyboard.

When the eagles was going to the playoffs back in the early 2000's I was never concerned they would win it all. Even in 2008 along with the Chip Kelly years but for some reason now I just have this scary thought they will win it all. Or maybe I am just overhyping this team? The 2003 team finished 13-3 but I was never concerned they was going to compete for a SB title.

What do you think makes this season so much different? I mean Wentz is similar to Mcnabb, both can run and throw so I can't understand why this eagles seem like a bigger threat than all the other teams.

Because you are a big scaredy cat?

The Vikings aren't a threat, Keenum is not an answer but is a nice story. As for the Rams, they are not there yet and have lost two 3 of the most competitive teams they faced - Vikings, Seattle, and Commanders.

Again, the NFC is weak. Eagles biggest hurdle will be the Saints. Experienced QB, good offense, good defense.

Saints don't have Okafor or Lattimore. They looked pedestrian yesterday. I still think that if MIN produces any resemblance to an average running game once the POs start, they have the best chance to knock off PHI. Their passing game is criminally underrated (Keenum has to perform like he has, obviously). The loss of Cook was so huge, tho.
