Well that's kind of the point of being a tight end nowadays. In the old days tight ends were mainly used as blockers, but nowadays they're used more as recievers.

Jack Ballard tore his ACL and they had solid production at the position the past few seasons. They're leaning on him to come in and fill that gaping hole
