Why are many afraid to play the Saints?

I seen a lot of comments on fans rooting for the Eagles. As they do not want us to play the Saints. Rather the Eagles win and we go play the Rams.

Be careful what you wish for.

I do understand the reasoning why. The Rams game seems better on paper, then playing at NO in a dome, tough place to play.
And if the Eagles beat the Saints, we beat the Rams, we get the NFCCG.

I just can't root for the Eagles, just can't. Now if they win, I wouldn't be completely upset. But does anyone really think the Eagles can go into NO and win, when they got stomped there earlier.

And Defense travels, a running game travels. And we have both. Not scared of going there next week if that is the way it turns out.

No doubt we surprised the league, & punched the Saints in the mouth. Before yesterday, by far... our best win of the season.

I don't think people are scared to play the Saints, in NO.... I think it's more, doubting we're THAT good. It's one thing to beat one of the best teams in the league. It's another to beat them, in their house, in the playoffs.

Personally, I don't care who we play. Just win. I'll take an ugly win. I don't care the score, or how we do it, just win, & advance to the next round...

The Saints don't scare me. We punched them in the mouth and the score really flattered them at AT&T. They get a TD on a penalty-filled drive by crappy calls. We down the ball at the one at the end. Saints were actually blown away in that game on both sides of the ball. Don't care about their Dome. We beat them in their house several years ago and that D was not even close to this one in talent. Bring them all on.

One of my reasons for the Bears to win today.
If we have to go to LA, it is one less day to prepare and heal up. They will not know the we play until later today regardless. But then it will be a Saturday game in LA. If at NO, that is another day for Beasley and any one else to heal.

The Saints are a hard team to beat once, let alone twice this season. They are a team many believe are destined for the Super Bowl. I don’t want to be the first team going in their house in the playoffs. I actually feel better about it if it’s the championship game, just don’t see the Saints being one and done.

Probably because they are a scary team. Obviously we can beat them, but they have one of the best offenses in the league, and one of the best defenses in the league, and we just proved what happened in the regular season doesn’t matter

Better Defense

One of the Best Run defense

More HFA in that dome

Will want revenge

Average 37 points per game at home



Anybody wanting to play the Saints over the Rams just doesnt want to see the Eagles win.
