They are not "over us", we are tied in the W-L catagory, plus we are 3-0 in the conf and 1-0 in the div. The pucks are 4-1 in the conf. and 1-1 in the div. And if you are referring to some "poll/power ranking", you should know they aren't real.

No, it wasn't a power ranking it was the conference rankings from NFL.com. I figured we would be #1 too with them losing to the Bears, but when I saw the order on the site I thought I was missing something in the equation.

If the playoffs were to start next week, Dallas should have homefield advantage.

Green Bay lost a conference game.
Dallas lost a non-conference game.

Dallas beat Chicago.
Green Bay lost to Chicago.

There's also division record, and maybe something to do with point spread.

yeah thats what I thought too but seeing us #2 didnt sit well with me. Man, I hope we can get homefield advantage but the NFC is whacky and anything can happen.

Ummm, , you must not have even watched the game or be in touch with the season. Green Bay barely beat Washington at home last week and the week before lost at home to the same Chicago team that just lost to Minnesota at home and was thrashed by Dallas at home.

Thanks.

Lmao. Must have touched a nerve.

Look, if Dallas wanted to be number one, they should have beaten the Patriots. That's all. It's fair.

We wanted to be number one, but the Patriots are better at this point. Does that mean that every team in the league is better than Dallas of the sudden? Of course not. Your logic is flawed.

Losing to the best team in football means nothing since they were an AFC team, we are still the #1 NFC team, and tops in the NFCE, and I am betting your team is in 3rd in the division

What the hell does this have to do with being #1 in the NFC when we lost to a non-conference team and beat GB in head to head competition:banghead:

You must not be familiar with tie breakers. Permit me to explain them to you.

Dallas is undefeated in conference and thus division play.
Green Bay has lost a division and thus conference game.
Green Bay's loss was to a common opponent that Dallas schalackd.
Dallas has scored more points.

Dallas has the best conference record at the present time.

ESPN nob slobbing is not indicative of homefield advantage, sorry.

Now back to hell with you, go on, git.

From the looks of it, I would say that, yeah, Green Bay is better than Dallas due to the latter's penalty problem, its inconsistent offense, and its nonexistent secondary. Remember, though, it's only one game, and it's only one week of rankings. It's really not anything to get pissed over.

The best record does not necessarily mean the best team, though. There are other factors to consider, such as an embarrassing loss to New England, lack of discipline, and a bad defense, so to say that the reason Dallas is lower than Green bay is due to a bias toward Green Bay denies the facts.

You are just mad that the cheeseheads circumcised your foreskins and are now trying to sooth your black empty soul by creating a mythical beast called "The Green Bay Packers, since they beat Washington they must be the Greatest Ever" sadly for you it is no tall order to scalp a 'Skin on Sunday.

No more reprieves from eternal torment, back into the Lake of Fire with you, shoo, scat.

Losing the NE isn't embarrassing.

Letting Washington hang within 3 points of you that is embarrassing

Dallas isnt below GB in reality that is the fact, only in your head is Gb better than Dallas

You obviously haven't looked at Green Bay, then. Not only did they lose at home to a team we blew out on the road, their offense is far more inconsistent than ours (their offense scored nine points against Philadelphia and 10 against Washington), they had 12 penalties against Chicago and have the fifth-most penalties in the league, and their pass defense has allowed a higher passer rating and more yards per pass than ours.
