Why are we not signing anyone yet?

I musta mised something!, but i see that glover signed with the rams, and some other player has a tryout with some other team, but i don't see the cowboys doing anything of the kind, were'nt the teams supposed to wait until the free agent deadline (thursday) started before signing any players?

Not players that were cut.

I think most players are waiting to see if a new CBA is reached. If one is reached then the cap will be higher and players can in theory seek more money. Also Gene Upshaw advised players and their agents to hold off on signing contracts. For players that have been cut then they have the option but I read somewhere that teams had announced cuts but the players haven't officially been cut atleast not all of them.

aren't Fabini and Mawae cuts? Maybe our hesitation to sign them means that we will go on a different avenue than the 35+ age group...wishful thinking...

Who should Dallas sign at this point? There doesn't seem to be a rush by any team to sign most of the guys that have already been cut. I don't think the main reason is the CBA. It has something to do with age, skill and value for these cut players. The best player released so far was Glover.
