Which is downright churlish of us, when he's working SOOOO hard at being affable...

No, 5stars: You imply something. Then the person hearing your statement infers something from that.

Easy. Now, let's review: Canada guy implies that he is god. Now, from that you infer that he is crazy. Got it?
It's easy!

People thought the Nazarene crazy as well. Sigh, we prophets are always laughed at, such is our lot in life.

It's just regionalism and ethnocentrism or maybe jealousy of our red and white flag which is prettier than the stars and bars..

The stars and bars was the flag of the confederacy circa 1861, the stars and stripes or old glory is the moniker given to the traditional flag of the United States.

You've claimed you were God, now you're claiming you're a prophet... make up your mind, eh??

That's one of the stranger birth defects I've ever heard of...

I hear ya, .. one on each side I can see, but two on one side, that is weird.

I grew up with the Cowboys in Aransas Pass, Texas.....growing up in God's Country with Coach Landry and the Boys. In all my travels, there has never been another team.

I became a Dallas Cowboy fan because my daddy raised me right!

If only I could have done the same with my two sons! One is a Bills fan, the other thinks football sucks...and he's the biggest in the family! I always told him to try out during jr. school and now high school, and he just looks at me and laughs...then walks away!

Embrace The Hate.

Some prophets are also Gods. Who says you cannot be both?

you are correct, but our flag is still prettier. :lmao:

came to the U.S. (Dallas) in 1988, didn't know a thing about American footbal, didn't understand it, and in fact i didn't care for it much. when i started college in the early 90's i met my best friend, born and raised in the DFW area, who was a huge cowboys fan. He begun explaining the game to me and the more i learned about it the more i got into it. Also during the same time i begun bartending to pay for school expenses and i needed to keep up with the NFL (especially the Boys) since that was all everybody talked about in those bars. I'm sure it didn't hurt the cowboys were winning almost every game in those days. By the time i finally understood the game well enough the cowboys were starting to decline:( but i have stuck with the team and have never waivered. What's funny is that while i learned the game and the cowboys in particular i also learned which teams to 'Hate'...i'm still trying to catch up with the haterade life-long cowboys fans' have for certain teams...... have no fear i believe i am getting there finally:)

Born in Texas but moved to Alaska when very young. Watched the 77 Superbowl victory against Denver, My Dad told me that was the team from my home state and they were the best in the land.

Been Bleeding Silver/Blue ever since.

Old Gory has never done it for me.

I am a Lone Star flag guy myself. love that flag. Farmers Branch has a city flag. It has a bingo card, a pickup truck and a book-burning. I don't like it because bingo does not really represent our fair city.

As for the canadian flag, it should have a beer keg, a hockey puck and a moose, to make it more authentic, that is. And a small picture of Avril.

Well, the nazareth guy was a bit crazy, if you ax me. He wanted peace
and socialized sharing of them fish and such.
Sandals, long hair.
I tell you whut: He wouldn't have last 10 minutes in the Metroplex. Too communistic.

Man Law 52: No usage of the words "churlish" and "affable" when you can use mean and nice.

When I was a kid, you would have more choices in communist Russia than in my house on Sundays. Watch the Cowboys or don't watch TV. I was assimilated.

I am from dallas, and grew up within walking distance from where tom landry lived. Every time there was something to be voted on my mom and dad went to the same place landry did, I have no idea how it happened but I saw him at least 5 times voting. He even patted me on the shoulder once. That helped, and the fact that my grandmother loved the 'boys, well it was meant to be.
growing up in pittsburgh in the 70s and living with stealer fans wasnt easy but the first time i saw the star and watchin roger play and of course the cheerleaders was all it took for me,ive been true blue ever since.thru thick and thin,I LOVE THE COWBOYS:bow:
