Why aren't we targeting our star players in big moments?

I know we shouldn't force it, but when you need a big play, you need your playmakers the guy you say is your stud to get the ball! This seems to be an issue around here for some reason. Maybe those guys should act like divas on the sidelines, who knows

We only have one stud playmaker in CeeDee. Someone else needs to step up. 49ers have Kittle and CMC. Philly has Brown and Smith. If the Jamyr Gibbs seen the last game is real, Lions have St. Brown and Gibbs. Who is our solid second option?

I said this same thing during the game. I forget who the coach was, might be Parcells, but the coach said in crucial moments he wants the ball going to and in the hands of his best players. Plays are called specifically for those star players as they’re more apt to make a play. I mean Cee Dee aside, Ferguson was having a great game and with his size why wasn’t he targeted? Or even Cooks who is a vet with several 1,000 yard receiving seasons under his belt.

This isn't about the second option I get what you're saying totally, but the MAIN option doesn't even get looked at

Because teams focus on those players more in those moments?

Seems like the Cowboys are prioritizing pre snap looks from the defense more so than targeting a player. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it can be if you don't ever force the issue as defenses can start to dictate what you do and take advantage of that.

What I've saw the last few weeks is you need to just let Dak play football. I wonder if the 'Dak friendly' stuff has gone too far and it's weighed this offense down a little?

It sucks because it's all based on him having a high int total last season, great post though

we have been. not sure what you mean. with that said, the other team knows it too, so they probably double up the stars, which leaves others open. they just have to make plays. Tolbert did. Gallup choked. Fergi did. Schoon choked.

I think you are talking about the 4th and 8 throw to Tolbert?!

I liked the call though. He was covered by their worst and really bad CB (Bradberry) whom they picked on the whole game.

That was just a really bad throw.
