I am not ripping the guy or anything. I think he definately has the potential. I like Thompson, why so little of him. Where was Thomas at? Those plays down around the 10, couldn't we come up with something better then him up the middle?

Yeah, like "play action" on 1st down and hit Whitten in the Endzone on a delayed rout.

Don't you get so tired of that crap time and time again? Everybody in the world, including the other team, knows whats coming and stuffs us at or behind the line of scrimmage.

Once in a while we run a different play like the "fake everything to the right and throw left to the TE". Guess what, IT WORKS! Obviously we can't do that every time but what's wrong with a play action short or medium slant pattern on 1st or 2nd down? Keep the runs up the middle to less than 50% and they will be a whole lot more effective.

Tyson Thompson is not the back Barber is....Thompson hits the hole hard and has speed...he did break a first down outside on Sunday...it wasn't all up the middle.

However, he has shown no moves, broken no tackles...not yet. Barber is slipperier...he slithers through the smallest of holes, knows how to turn his shoulders sideways, has some moves and elusiveness (though not as much as JJ), and he definitely finishes runs...I jumped up and hollared on Sunday when he lowered his shoulder and ran over the defensive guy without going down himself.

Right now JJ is #1, Barber is #2, and Thompson is #3....I don't see it changing anytime soon.

Not for anything but I keep hearing that TT has no moves. He had almost a 6yd avg yesterday and he definitely hits the hole hard...he runs very strong. I woould love to see him for a whole game. Now that being said, Barber really impressed me yesterday. He ran strong, has some wiggle to make tacklers miss and just looks really good. I think we finally had a decent day running the ball, probably the best day this year. I love JJ but dont think we will be missing too much if he has to sit another week. :)

Simple he knows the blocking assignments, he has better hands, and as of yesterday proved he could carry the ball effectively.
