They made the playoffs last year and are in the midst of another December march. They have Chad Henne and Chad Pennigton as QB's. Their running backs are good. Their recievers are weak. Their defense doesnt have any big names with the exception of Taylor and Porter, who are over the hill, but they still manage to fight you every week. On paper we have twice the talent as they do. They dont have a Demarcus Ware. Tony Romo is twice the QB of anyone they have and with a healthy Ronnie Brown I call our rb's a draw. Miles Austin and Roy Williams just kills Best, Ginn and Cammerio. Not only this but they play in the AFC division which is brutal like ours. Its coaching. Can anyone else come up with another reason?

Miami hasn't beaten anyone other than new England this year. They will lose next week at TENN and that will be the end of them.

Hoof, haha. Just frustrating isnt it. That team should be 4-12 and there going to be like 10-6 two seasons in a row. Frustrating frustrating

Well, you would know, your from Miami. You have to agree they should be 3-13/4-12.

They don't lay down and die. The personality of their coach.

Our coach simply says " We are going in with the same attitude and hopefully a little better outcome". Yup, just keep plugging Wade.

Last time I checked, we have more wins than them this yr. They've also been outscored this yr.

Last yr they had a massive fluke of the season, and got totally destroyed in the playoffs once they did get there. (kinda like our team in Parcells first yr)

They play in a pitiful division and have had an easy schedule for two yrs.

How about Buffalo and the Jets in your division?

I have watched every game of both teams this season, and there is only one explanation.

Keep in mind Miami has lost their starting QB, their starting RB (who is phenomenal), a few offensive linemen, and their #1 CB. They are starting two ROOKIES at corner, and sometimes it shows. Their offensive coordinator (Henning) calls some of the most inexplicable plays at the most inexplicable times, but they continue winning.

That said, if we were to meet Miami, we would trounce them because we are a far better team and we could stop their rushing attack no problem. But there is a reason we continue to be a "pretty good" team, and we can never quite get over that hump. Someone needs to kick our team in the *** over that hump.

amen to that. To think we had the guy right here and he is extremely well thought of.

Its fun to see the same parcells hating fans in this threading downgrading what they have been doing though. Those same fans would be having a fit if we had the roster they do, and they are finding ways to win.

If they make the playoffs and we dont again, that is just going to be really bad, imo.

We could have stayed the course we were on in 06, like the giants did, we were being built the same way. Instead jerry went in a different direction and there is no doubt we are different.

Coaching. Plain and simple.

They have a staff that knows their team well, knows their limitations and takes steps to disguise weaknesses and put them in the right circumstances. They don't make excuses. They adjust.

They lost Ronnie Brown. And when that happened they decided to abandon the Wildcat, which was smart and bought them a couple of wins and more time. If that happened with our staff, we'd do the same things and just scratch our heads wondering why it didn't work. That's because this staff is arrogant.

They aren't arrogant. They have a workmanlike perspective.

They aren't talented enough right now and will be one and done in the playoffs. But I believe they will be realistic enough about it to make changes to get better. We will do more of the same thinking "continuity" will eventually be the tonic. To think, this team actually thought that if special teams was remedied, we'd win more. We basically returned the entire team again, minus a few malcontents who complained about bigger issues that apparently are still a problem. In retrospect, that is coming back to bite us.

They still use the wildcat (although they didn't at all yesterday). Using it in atrocious situations probably cost them the game against Buffalo when Ricky threw a goalline pick.

Other than that your post is legit.

Could you imagine Dallas without Romo, Barber, Jenkins, Flo AND Davis?

Coaching, plain and simple.

They've used it sparingly the last few games, whereas before they were running it constantly. They put the ball in Henne's hands and he's responded.

that is what really makes me mad. two of parcells coaches are two of the better head coaches in the game now. curse you jerry jones for not wanting to see that. we are stuck with stay puff head coach.

Ya know, it's a shame Jones hired Parcells as the head coach and not the GM...he brought in very good coaches, as he always does...and he changed the thinking in the organization.

Sadly, for us, he was well past his prime as a coach.
