I posted this same thread last week. I did the research and I'm still confused. Apparently Arizona would beat the loser of the GB/Det game via strength of victory. They beat Detroit in the head-to-head so they own the tie-breaker over them. But I'm confused about why they own the tie-breaker over Green Bay. They would have the same conference record if they both lost today. I checked the common games records and my checking shows the Packers would be 3-2 in common games and Arizona would be 2-3. By my math that would make Arizona the 6 seed. But for some reason that's not the case. The NFL counts them as having the same common games record. I think it's because Green Bay played Detroit twice while Arizona only played them once, and Arizona played Seattle twice while Green Bay only played them once. Anyway, so it would go to strength of victory (the combined record of the teams they've beaten) and Arizona would win that tie-breaker, making Arizona the 5 seed.
