Why can't I find Romo on any of the rosters or depth charts from 2003?

Just curious. Why can't I find Romo on any of the rosters or depth charts from 2003? I'm 95% sure he was a Cowboy in 2003 and never heard anything about him being on the practice squad. Can someone help here?

I believe Romo was on the PS and ran the scout team his rookie year. Carter being the starter and Hutchinson was the lone backup on the active roster.

Ok, looks like Romo was indeed on the 53 active roster in 2003. If you scroll down the page of this link you can see he's listed on the 53. Best I could find...no idea why he's not listed on other rosters.

Go back and watch some highlights from 03 you can see him on the sidelines. He was on the roster.

I don't think he was ever on the PS. Should be there on every roster.

Maybe it has to do with the fact that he was the third quarterback and they had a rule back then where the third quarterback didn't count against the 45 man game day roster. Not sure why he wouldn't be mentioned as being on the team at all, but he would not have been on the active roster at any point if he was only the third quarterback.

He probably pulled a spin move when the roster was bearing down on him so it couldn't catch his name to put him on the depth chart. Romo is a ninja.
