Coach Romeo Crennel would like to re-sign WR Antonio Bryant.
The fact that Braylon Edwards will be coming off ACL surgery and might not be ready until October "has to be taken into consideration." Bryant struggled with drops, but led the Browns with 1,009 yards this season.

Browns are in worse shape, and Crennel is a lot more easy going, plus Bryant is starting there.

Bryant had a good season, what is so hard to understand?

What is the problem with AB? He is a good receiver.

I for one, wouldn't have minded him staying here.

You mean other than his terrible attitude, dropping passes and freelancing pass routes????? I guess nothing :D

69 catches and 1,009 yards.

Trent Dilfer and Charlie Frye throwing him the ball.

Gave him away for nothing.

All to win now, which is going on three years and we haven't done yet.

That's funny, I haven't heard ONE bad thing come out of his team about him being a bad apple. Did I miss something?

Personally, I don't blame him for being upset with the circumstances at the time. There was a big discussion on whether or not he was rightfully upset.

Everyone, however, agreed that he should not have thrown the jersey.

He dropped balls at a rate that made Quincy Morgan look like Fred "Stickum" Belitnikoff (sp?)

So, you are saying that all he has to do is catch come more balls and he could have gotten over 2,000 yards?

How many DID he drop BTW?

He did have an attitude, but I agree somewhat with this.

Just go back and read Mickey's article called "Entering a Dangerous Mind" or whatever the title was where he gave out some good reason why Bryant was so PO'ed.

Parcells saying every position was up for grabs but basically gave Key the job...

Besides, Romeo Crennell is a pretty good coach and highly respected, even by Parcells (for his work as a coordinator), so I have to give him the benefit of the doubt that he knows his team and players better than anyone else.

I never understand this mentality some people have: "Parcells got rid of him so he must be garbage".

Remember the saying, "One man's garbage is another man's treasure".

I root for all Cowboys as long as your name isnt Dewayne Goodrich and im happy he could get a new contract.

I have not seen him play or anything but based on the stats posted, looks like he had a solid season on a poor team.

7 drops........um....OK.

He also had 15 catches that went for 20+ yards and 2 catches that went for over 40 yards.

Let's face it, he's not a BAD WR.

You just let some of the steam out of your argument.

I bet every Cowboy fan on this board would take no less than 80% of the players on that list, including Bryant.

IT's resentment because he left us and is doing well. Its quite simple, Dallas just wasn't a good fit for the guy. Accept it, even if he excels somewhere else.

Usually BP has been right about bad characters, ie. Derek Ross who alot of you were so high on.
