The only problem i would have with pats vs Cowboys Super Bowl is...

Belichick knows how to take away what you do well.

Dak vs Belichick - not crazy about that,

What I would give to add tyrick hill to this roster. That dude is electric
Him and Conley are both tough to cover but yes I would love to add Hill.

Switzer from UNC will be another Hill although I dont think he is as fast he will be electric. Will give us a legit return man that can score from anywhere and just broke UNCs yardage record with guys like Hakeem Nicks and Brandon Tate that went there. He can be a utility man lining up all over the field

The giants beat them twice....are they the elite of the nfl? LOL.

Well . . . I'll put it this way -- they definitely regard themselves as elite, even though we don't. It bugs me that some in the media have as well but thankfully, not everyone has. That was a while back, however. (I think those that still think so are probably NY fans.)

Anyhow, it'd be great if we managed to win a world title again. It seems like forever since we did that. At least we're flirting with it, anyway. Sooner or later, it just might happen. If not this year, perhaps another good draft will push us over the hump. ;)

You haven't watched KC play if you think they are only dink and dunk

The Chiefs are #25 in the league in yards per completion. Alex Smith has thrown for only 15 touchdowns all year. Hill averages under 10 yards a catch (lower than Jason Witten!!!) and no wide receiver on that team had even 600 yards. It's dink and dunk city.

Those are the facts, not an opinion.

Alex Smith didn't suddenly grow an NFL-worthy arm out of nowhere at age 32. He's everything people accuse Dak of being, only worse. People see a couple highlight clips from Chiefs games and can't see the forest for the trees.

This is probably the weakest Patriots team in years, but the league is so down this year that they look like juggernauts anyway. That said, who in the AFC can beat them? The Chiefs have the dink-and-dunk bus driver chump everyone accuses Dak of being at QB, and a head coach who has some of the biggest 4th quarter choke jobs in league history on his resume. The Steelers have the talent, but found a way to blow 4 games they had no business losing and are wildly inconsistent in general. All the other AFC playoff teams have dead quarterbacks.

The Patriots offense is probably about where it's ranked, they have played against good defenses, and while Gronk is out their offensive line is playing way better than last year - Brady has been virtually untouched all year. They are really deep in "good but not great" players at running back and wide receiver, so if there is no one guy who can kill you, there is nobody you can safely ignore either. Their defense on the other hand is probably league average, but has been massively inflated to "#1 scoring defense" by playing so meany teams with garbage QBs.

I think the Steelers beat them honestly. IMO they are the team to beat in the AFC.

The only thing that makes me hesitate with the Steelers is how many garbage losses they had this year to what should have been seriously inferior teams. They're really inconsistent.

You know the only team the Pats don't want to see in the SB is NY, so they would be glad to be playing the Cowboys... until the Cowboys kick that NE butt. :flagwave:

I think a Patriots-Cowboys Super Bowl could be a shoot-out. Neither team lets their QB get sacked much, and neither team has a very strong pass rush (each team only had 34 sacks.) Giving Brady unlimited time to throw is a disaster in the making, but if you can't pressure Dak without blitzing and you can't cover Bryant, Beasley, Witten and Williams in man coverage (which they can't), it's hard to see how they stop the Cowboys offense - or even inconvenience it particularly.

Of course now that I've posted that it will probably be like a 13-10 slog. :p

Excellent find. That schedule seems ridiculously easy. I think the Chiefs may beat them.

Who knows for sure -- you might be right, although most fans would more than likely opt for New England. Of course, the playoffs are played to find out for sure and it's just a matter of time before it's history. Anyhow, it'll be interesting to find out who wins out once the playoffs get underway. I'm really looking forward to seeing how it all comes down. Here's hoping the Cowboys are there to play the AFC champ in the Super Bowl. It'd make the last 20 years well worth waiting for, especially if our guys happened be the team to win. What a Cinderella story that'd be, huh? :)

I just read that the Pats' had the easiest strength of schedule this year. So I looked it up. Yep. 32 of 32.

Considering the abortion of a division that the Patriots have had the pleasure of being in for 15 years, I wouldn't be surprised if they had one of the top 10 easiest schedules every single season.

Here are some facts for you

KC averages 7.2 yards per pass

Hill averaged 11.2 yards per carry......that's really explosive

5 recievers average over 12 yards a catch

Smith had a long of 80 yard TD

These are facts not opinions, wish I could see the forest but the trees are in the way

Here are some facts for you

KC averages 7.2 yards per pass This is a mediocre number. Dak averages 8.0.

Hill averaged 11.2 yards per carry......that's really explosive As a running back, dink-and-dunk describes passing.

5 recievers average over 12 yards a catch 12 yards a catch is low for anyone but a running back or tight end, so that's not saying much.

Smith had a long of 80 yard TD On a screen pass, 80 yards of it was yards after the catch!!! Dink and dunk pass that lucked out.

These are facts not opinions, wish I could see the forest but the trees are in the way

These facts of yours, I do not think they mean what you think they mean.

Nope.
I want the Steelers all day every day.

Would be our 4th Superbowl vs one another. They are 2-1. They have 6 Rings, we have 5.
I want to tie it all up.

I just read that the Pats' had the easiest strength of schedule this year. So I looked it up. Yep. 32 of 32. For comparison sake, we were 21 of 32. Their biggest marquee win was over the Steelers.... but they didn't have Big Ben.

Just look at who Tom Brady played from week 5 on:

Browns
Bengals
Steelers (no Big Ben)
Bills
Seahawks (loss)
49ers
Jets
Rams
Ravens
Broncos
Jets
Dolphins

My goodness, this guy missed 4 games due to cheating, then came back and played a schedule softer than the Stay Puft Marshallow Man and people want to give him the MVP? Give me a break.

Please, please, please let us play the Pats in the Super Bowl. I think they'd be easier than the Packers or Falcons.
not to mention they have been handed 5-6 wins a year for the last decade due to their weak division....pretty easy road to the playoffs every year

This is another reason why I just can't give them the respect that everyone feels like they should have.

Spygate. Deflategate. The cheating on their formations. They have had the easiest division in football throughout their dynasty that has guaranteed them homefield and a first round bye every year. The Tuck Rule. Barely squeaking by on last second field goals. Seattle throwing the ball at the goal line instead of running it. Overall cockiness and things like running the scores up on teams.

I hate the Patriots more than any team in football, including the Eagles, Commanders, Giants or Steelers. And Tom Brady is easily my least liked football player of all time.

I wanna play them just so we can beat them. But I'd prefer if they didn't even get there. Not because I'm afraid of them. Because I want them to lose every single time they step on the field.
