It's hard to evaluate dak because of the glitch. you can't tell from game to game how bad the fear will be.

A lot of people seem to ignore the reason why Dak plays so conservatively and doesn't take risks. Dak recognizes he's a 4th round quarterback on a relatively poor contract who knows he can be yanked at anytime. He doesn't have the luxury of Qb's like Sam Darnold who are allowed to be trash and still get praised because of "p-p-p-pppotential".

When he gets a guaranteed 8 figures Dak will be able to play like Brett Farve
So, mostly flub easy TD throw to uncovered FB to not clinch playoff birth?

I love Cowboyszone. By far the greatest NFL sport forums. Thank you for just being able to put a smile on my face when I'm down.

A similar thought occurred to me earlier this season, in relation to him not throwing the ball away, as that would negatively impact his completion percentages. But then I concluded that I was reaching, because taking sacks, and essentially ending drives or fumbling, impacts other stats negatively, in multiple categories.

He looked good against Philly. Less so against Colts. Our failures are mostly in the red zone. That's on the coaches play calling..
Some is coaches and play calling. But we’ve had two td’s dropped in recent weeks. We’ve had bad passes, we’ve had bad play calls
If you look at all the plays ran inside the 10 in the last 4 games the failures really are a bit of everything but much is execution by a missed block, a penalty
If it was just one thing it would be easier to fix I think

Hmmm, i guess the flip side to this would be if he had confidence in himself he would take the bull by the horns earn that next contract and not give the team any choice but to sign him to a mega deal. What your saying is he is playing scared and if that is the case in his 3rd season why would anyone want him as their QB?

Yeah...
Uh huh...

You've already tried this garbage on me before.
You suck dude.

I don't care about your agenda. I don't have a problem with that.
You're just a crap poster. Sorry.

Everything he posts is diarrhea. I'm sure some of the more respectable Dak "haters" are embarassed to have him representing the cause. Blatant lack of objectivity reveals the mind of a child, or a severely deranged individual.

Yanked at anytime? For who? From the preaseason games we saw from Cooper and White, Dak may have the most secure job in the league.

They played with the scrubby second units in offenses that had issues everywhere, particularly no WRs and even Dak took a week to get the ball in the end zone in training camp in an offense that was being made ‘Dak-friendly’.

Rush did fine in his first pre-season. Give any QB the amount of time and attention Dak has been getting just to hand the ball off to Zeke and make a couple plays here and there, they’ll probably be as good, if not better than Dak.

I thought it was important to end last season well, which is why he didn’t let Rush get reps against third-string backups in the Eagles...

You have to give it to the anti-Dak crowd. They were exactly the same after 400 yards passing and a five game winning streak.

Excellent consistency
