Jerry isnt drafting Shadeur and Sanders isnt coming here. I cant stand Sanders but he wouldn't back down from Jerry so in that sense Jerry wouldn't hire him. No coach is going to succeed here as long as Jones is running the show. Im also not sure that Shaduer is even the best QB in college football as it stands.

I don't see the appeal for Deion. Probably gets paid more than MM, too.

What does he do as an X's and O's HC? He excels in college the way Steve Spurrier and Urban Meyer did, because they're able to recruit the talent, but when push comes to shove their model does not translate to the NFL.

His son? He's a selfish player who is going to fail at the next level. He is not a team player players will hate playing for him. You think it's bad in Chicago with Caleb? oh just wait.

AI Overview:

Yes, Deion Sanders, the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, is known for his old-school, military-style approach to coaching that emphasizes discipline and accountability:

Command-and-control: Sanders uses a no-nonsense, command-and-control style to get results.

Accountability: Sanders is unapologetic about holding people accountable. For example, he once kicked his son, Shilo, off the team for arriving late to a meeting.

Charismatic: Sanders can get away with more severe coaching methods because he tends to charm everyone he meets.
Sanders' leadership style has been described as visionary and actionable. Some say that business leaders can learn from Sanders' approach to building a culture of respect and discipline.

Deion Sanders, Taylor makes clear, is not a players' coach, but an old-school disciplinarian. Once, he temporarily kicked his own son, Shilo, a safety (another of Sanders's children, Shedeur, is the star quarterback), off the team for showing up to a meeting insufficiently early. - Nov 11, 2023
If you are still in doubt about Deion "Coach Prime" Sanders being good enough to coach today's Dallas Cowboys, read this article. You won't be disappointed. It's a long and lengthy article, but very informative and well written. You will realize Coach Prime is exactly the type of coach (old school disciplinarian) today's Cowboys need and how his flare for the media would actually keep Jerry happily satisfied with more exposure and marketability while still able to old-school discipline this team (which this team direly needs). That's not including the assistant coaches Coach Prime would bring with him and lure to help him Ccoach today's Dallas Cowboys.

Nope.

He still brings a circus atmosphere with him. We already have that and do not need it. We need to get away from it. "Temporarily" kicked his son off the team? That's serious red flags. Either do something or don't. and this was for a missed meeting. Maybe get the kid doing extra laps and additional work for the team. If he had other issues leading up to the event, then kick him off and make it for the whole year. Deion is not a coach. Can he recruit? Sure, his name helps that. He is not a leader. He's just a guy that uses leadership buzz words to make him sound like one but he doesn't know how to actually lead. Again, we already have that problem.

Can we just get a young mind that comes from a solid coaching tree? Is it really that hard? We need to stop with these old, worn out coaches or names with little substance. We just need to get to solid football fundamentals. That's it.

Deion will be a great HC here IF IF...Jerry agrees to stay out of his way. Hence the problem. If he does come here and fails, it wont be because of Deion...it'll be like always, Jerry in the way.

Jerry loves a circus?

Exactly right, but Belicheat might bring in as many thru the gates as Deion, I can see him hiring one of these two for that primary reason only, at least until the mob catches on "again" and the shiny wears off..

And even moreso, because he would attract a ton of attention, which is all Jerry really wants anyway.

I don't want him. Not a fan and don't know that he is NFL HC material honestly.

There is already enough of a crap show in Dallas and adding him to the mix would only make it worse.

I know talk is cheap but he says he is staying in Colorado.
Worse might be better so we can start collecting some really high draftees.

I don't think that's going to happen, Shedeur will most likely go to the Giants or the Raiders, and possibly Deion will follow him,
