they ELEVATE
Lmao. I can't take this post serious when these are the 2 QBs you use for your post. For one, they have a total of what, 12 starts between the 2? Second, they aren't elevating anyone. Simply taking advantage of the talented offensive weapons they have available. Chicago has a lot of offensive talent. Washington has a lot of offensive talent. These QBs aren't making that talent look better than it is.

Elevating is what Mahomes does. He can take any WR given to him and make them look better. Outside of him, not sure how many QBs make the talent around them look better than it is.

Burrow has Jamar Chase and Tee Higgins.
Hurts has AJ Brown, Goeddert, Davante Smith.
Purdy and Goff have as many offensive weapons you can hope to have.

Yup a super bowl appearance. Not even close

Let's see
Only in the league 4 years

Already...
  • 5 playoff wins..yes team stat but he is the QB
  • only 2 playoff losses
  • 1 SB appearance
  • 2 AFC title game appearances
  • 5th highest playoff QB rating of all time

uh....that would be a YES
I think Burrow is a franchise QB and better than Dak. However, would the Bengals current record be his fault?

i do not under stand why it took so long.

it have been obvious from a long, long time ago that he is not a "franchise" qb in the sens that he does not elevate any one. wich is what you HAVE to have a franchise qb do when you give them a big % of the salary cap.

dak have NEVER, EVER, EVER elevate the team around him. he have been a passenger from day 1 and he never evolve past it. he is dependent on every one else to make him look good that is a FACT and u can not deny that any more

i have been saying it for YEARS because it was so obvius i bet if u look back now u can see it also.

they ELEVATE

this is not a thing in the same sens but the aura around the bears and commander is different u can feel it that is what a franchise qb does

dak is not a franchise qb he never have been and he never will be but i just do not get why only a couple people could saw it before this year
By the same token, why did you feel the need to scream it when it wasn't apparent until the last 3-4 years?

When you pay a qb 60 million , it makes him elite no matter the stats. - Jerry
Dak is busy...

Only an absolute idiot would believe that.
Only an absolute idiot would refuse to acknowledge what he sees because he wants his fantasy to be real.
These are supposedly the very best players in the world. The practice until they can’t get it wrong. And you're going to believe this guy "accidentally" missed a sack for a safety? He didn't even try to wrap Dak up! He kept his arms closed. Dak had nowhere to go and turned into the linemen beside him and they missed, too?
No, at the professional level this doesn't happen.
Even a junior high player makes that play.
You’re in denial. Grow up!

I get your point, but Burrow has the numbers to back up why you can't pin their record on him.
Almost nobody is really playing better

Burrow
  • 1st in Passer Rating (110.6)
  • 2nd in Total TDs - Total Turnovers (+10)

Prescott
  • 25th in Passer Rating (85.5)
  • 23rd in Total TDs - Total Turnovers (+2)

Because statistically he absolutely looks like a franchise QB, maybe not top 5 at times, but he led the league in TD last year. He’s capable of playing very good in some games, but sometimes looks like yesterday…shook.

Jalen Hurts has won more starts than Burrow, has been to a Super Bowl, is less injury prone than Burrow, and no one is ever going to suggest Hurts is elite. Call Dak whatever you want, but calling Burrow “elite” is less than accurate.

Like I said the people in the know continually rank him as a top 10-12 QB

All you knuckleheads can keep blaming Dak for the team sucking. I don’t love the player but he would be good enough if we had reasonable pieces in place around him
Who are these “people in the know?”

He is, and your evaluation means nothing. He has no OL, a depleted receiving corps, and the receivers on the field can’t get separation. Dude had no time to throw the ball on Sunday, and we’ll be lucky if he doesn’t get hurt. You just don’t understand football in general, and the QB position in particular.

because it was apparent a long time before that and i have been saying it since his rookie year lol

if u ask how i knew from the start it is because when u have to write a play book in crayon for a qb it is obvius they are not a franchise qb that is how i knew
