This has to be the dumbest coaching move we made all season. Why mess w/ what got you to the division title?

He was the guy that was providing the power in the run game. And we got away from that.

We were a ball control offense that controlled the clock. And we got away from the formula....because we had to justify Conner Williams draft statues????

I know Filo had the ankle issue...but he was suited up and ready to roll tonight.

Just amazes me we got away from what was working...How dumb do you have to be to stop doing what was working???

He was hurt. Him suiting up doesn't mean he is healthy. It means if Connor breaks his leg then Filo can go in hurt worst case scenario.

I thought they made the right decision. Donald is quick and Su'a-Filo is not. Williams has better feet and would be better suited to blocking Donald. He did a pretty good job all things considered. Connor Williams is not why we lost this game.

Every time I watched the Rams play this year I was struck by how bad their pass defense is. I know we have Zeke, but I thought we should have been throwing on most first downs off play action. Open the running game with the passing game. Dak has a bad quarter, the second, where his throws were off. He has those spells, but the rest of the game he looked pretty good. The pass to Gallup was a thing of beauty.

Xavier SuaFilo is complete trash and Donald would have had pressure on Dak up the gut ALL NIGHT if he played. While Donald is powerful his main weapon is speed and Connor Williams is better against speed than Filo.
Williams did pretty damn good at pass pro tonight overall Dak had time to throw when he needed. Williams is a much better at getting to the second level in the run game as well.

He’s hurt. They wouldn’t have used Williams unless they absolutely had to do it. It’s why I didn’t like our chances when I found out he wouldn’t be playing. With a interior of Suh and Donald,you really need beef to deal with that.
