Why didn't the Cowboys look at adding RG3?

I will say that I'm surprised at how I've heard absolutely nothing about Griffin. Kaepernick, while unsigned and mishandling his career, still gets repeated mentions, I've heard zero about this guy.

Does he still even want to play?

NFL defenses figured out the "read option" so he's basically worthless.

Why didn't the Cowboys look at adding RG3? He brings leadership and intensity. Obviously it would be for a backup role.

Unless we are carrying 3 qbs, Moore is the backup. Long as Linehan is coaching.

Ooh, ooh, I know the answer
Because he sucks!

I mean, hey, if you want your QB to throw the "go" route every play, fine.
Because that's the only route he'll throw to.

I remember a Browns game last year in which RG3 started.
He dropped back, looked deep, 4 guys on routes but hey, the go route isn't there so
he tucks it and runs for a TD. Good for him. When his teammates went to celebrate
with him, he left them standing in the end zone. What a leader, pfft.

He should have switched to WR like Terrell Prior. He is not a legit NFL QB.
