Why Do The Giants Have Skin Tight Jerseys?

Anyone know? I've wondered for a while but haven't seen it ever explained.

I think it looks cool for some of their players but for others, it looks like "fat guy in a little coat".

That would be my thought Ramp. They wear them like that to give the opposing team less stuff to grab onto.
